@lukebrwntube how is your tranny holding, does it have any aftermarket upgrades? the number of your block is found if you look above the oil pan behind the driver's side wheel.
@MrMarq92 The tranny is starting to slip from 1st to 2nd and the converter seems a little weak so probably in the market for a new converter and a rebuild here soon. It does not have anything aftermarket inside it. And I will check on the block number.
Nice rig, Got the same truck and almost the same mods. Mines an 01 with aem intake, no ring, and in the process of installing gauges. On the airdog, you wont regret it, I just got my raptor installed last weekend and it was super easy.
@offroadram95 So does the airdog make a big difference in the power because of the boosted fuel delivery? That's the problem I am having right now, the truck is de-fueling itself because it can't get the fuel it needs and it suffers quite a bit when towing or under heavy throttle.
@lukebrwntube If I had to guess I would say yes, I definently notice a difference when I get on it. Mainly on the highway ive noticed that passing is alot easier. Now my stock lift pump was on its way out so that maybe the reason I notice a difference. Either way its surely a good investment I just didnt have the money for a full airdog or fass, but I am very happy with the raptor.
@lukebrwntube Actually from what I am understanding is the stocker is prone to failure due to a bad design. Stock location on block causes premature failure due to having to pull more fuel than push. My truck is pretty much stock, with the exception of the intake. Aftermarket kits relocate closer to tank alowing more pushing than pulling fuel. I do have a chip but dont have it installed yet cause I am in the process of installing gauges and dont want chip till I can monitor levels.
@offroadram95 That is kinda a dumb spot to put it if pushing fuel is easier than pulling fuel. When you get the gauges installed and chip on make a vid and put it up!
thats a pretty ass truck if i dont say so myself

MrMarq92 7 months ago
@MrMarq92 The smarty was on level 7. As far as the block goes I don't know, would you just have to look at the vin or something?

@lukebrwntube How long have you been driving with it on level 7? Do you mostly use sw7?
MrMarq92 1 month ago

@offroadram95 So do you have a chip on yours at all? Probably a dumb question since lift pumps just don't go out when the truck is stock lol.
