I slowly watched the mall devolve and die. The food court became a drink court (only soda machines) and then they closed it off entirely. Most of the stores left, the movie theater got closed down. There was talk about putting a neo-eco-mall near wal-mart but I think that fell through. Also they're supposed to destroy the old mall and build a new one. Imagine going from us having no malls to two! hahah we can only hope and wait...
There are many gas stations, grocery stores, banks and tons of grade schools. There is a Walmart, Kmart, Kohl's, Big Lots and a Peebles (the store that keeps on truckin). There was a "theater" that was decent back in the early 2000's. It went down-hill to the point where the roof caved in this past year. There is a bowling ally, a park, a few gyms, and a few bars. There are a lot of multi-sport moms living in suburban heaven and too many emo kids. That's about it for E-berg and 500 characters...

We dont really have a main street in Eldersburg, there is a main street in Sykesville. Sykesville and Eldersburg both share the same zip code.
