I got the lyrics from the same song posted by lnrhcp.
You're right that the song makes more sense as "let go" rather than "live, go."
To me, though-- looking at the way Eric sings the song, it looks like his lips are shaped more in a "soft" consonant sound ("v") than a "hard" consonant sound ("t").
Lyrics are weird.

"The Rutland Isles" was re-released about a month ago. However, I don't know if this particular tune is available on CD (or anywhere) (besides here).
