  • Joe is so cute :)

  • I have worked with down syndrome adults 4 years, and believe me when I say that, many are violent, and I have witnessed many attacks, Unfortunatley, parents are riddled with guilt for having a DS baby, spoil it, by allowing them to do many things, you would tell an average child off for, & giving in ,doing things for them, so therefore, they have poor social skills, & sitting on the floor playing IS cute, when they`re a baby, but not when tey are 30.but dont tell them 2 get up,u may get punched.

  • yeah.. my brother has a nintendo DS..

  • my brothers has ds and i could not imagine life without him! he has had 3 cancers but has made it through.

some of these comments disgust me.

and it hurts to see things like that

  • I agree! Although I don't have a sibling with it, I know a little boy with it. He is about 5 years old, and he is SUCH a little bundle of joy :) I personally think that people shouldn't say "Oh, they have down syndrome." Like they are contagious, or they aren't even a human! I think of them as normal people.

  • People with DS are the closest to angels here on earth. They are so pure and the complete opposite to what is wrong with the world especially the scum who post hurtfull comments only for a kick. My bro who DS is a true inspirational to all those he meets. Peace

  • Having someone with ds in your life will enrich your life, i have a brother with ds and I can't imagen him not being here, love him so much! The only thing I do not like is knowing that there are people who will stare and make comments about him, they think he doesn't understand, but he does, I see it every time, and it makes me so angry to see him get hurt!

  • We had the pleasure of meeting Joe on a recent holiday. Joe was a very pleasant little boy who clearly filled his family's life with pleasure. From talking to his, i'm sure things can be hard at times, but nothing would out-way the happiness that Joe brings to them. It was a pleasure to meet you all and I am glad I had chance to watch your video. Hope the future gets better and better for you and your family.

  • I know this is my third response, sorry but in answer to your worry I never look away and when ever possible I always try to say hello because you are likely to get a more positive response from a person with downs than the average miserable sod you meet in the street

  • What a beautiful child .He seems like a complete joy.

  • I have had the privilege of working and volunteering with people with special needs including ds for 10 years and i can see your family love your son enjoy him and good luck

  • Obi you and simplykitty will get yours in hell god will make sure of that.

  • Right You No This Simplykitty Person. Ignore Them. They Have Commented On Basically Every Down's Syndrome Video There Is And Well If They Havent Got Anything Better To Do Than Leave Stupid Comments We Shudnt waste Our Time Replying.

Secondly Very Good Video :D x

  • Great video,thanks for sharing=).

As for Simplykitty and obi.....i feel very sorry for you,i have worked with the mentally and physically challenged for most of 10 years and a lot of those have had downs, you'll never know the joy and unconditional love these folks have.

I've learned more in my 10 years with the folks i've had the pleasure of working with versus "normal people"...your lives must be sad indeed.

  • thats abit harsh simply kitty.

dont let them just get sick and die..

cause then there nothing to laugh at.

  • nice video

SimplyKitty09 and obi are horrible people... it just sickens me... Read below if you have no clue what im talking about

  • The real problem that people with DS have are people like Simplykitty and ob1123. Everything else they deal with is cake, compared to having to deal with people like these two.

  • You are sick, SimpletonKitty

  • Thank you so much for sharing Joes story with us! I have a new baby girl with DS and this has helped me!

  • brilliant!!! i have a 8 year old son with ds. and obi i would not change my son for a normal child he IS NORMAL to me and he certinly does not have a shit life as you put it.you pathetic excuse for a so called human being

  • What a beautiful boy. I am sure it won't be easy but, it will always be special and wonderful. Best of luck to you and your family.

  • Obi you poor excuse for a human life until you have been in their shoes and experienced what they have and spent time with a child with Downs Syndrome then don't even bother commenting on this. I think your parents should have got rid of you. Maybe the world would be a better place.

  • You are SO WRONG.

  • you are a very sad person this family loves their son as they should because he is lovely unlike you i have enough love in me to really care for ALL people with downs syndrome and to make the world a better place maybe it is people with your attitude who should be beatean to a pulp.......lets just hope!

  • my son has ds he is 3years old,

    And for U JERKOVSKY!

Who gives u the right 2 go around saying sick things,YOU TWISTED LITTLE PERSON.

    U proved 1 thing?

And that is? U NEED HELP!

    I wounder if u even have family/friends,

    P.S...

Hope you have a horribal life?...

  • Oh how we have all gone through and will continue on our journey with our beautiful children with DS. My son is 1 and I remember feeling all these feelings, but I couldn't imagine my son any different. I have 4 kids too---there are so many people that will never be enlightened. We must keep on loving...and teaching.
