  • @Dom0nePhilosophy you have your way and I have mine. قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy @Jonstern1983 u guys can believe whatever u want to believe. Whatever I say won't convince u to the contrary. It's really no skin off my teeth either. Lies will take u only so far.

  • @starkraftvoll "Whatever I say won't convince u".

Absolutely NOTHING could be further from the truth! If there was a valid reason to assert that religions are accurate, as opposed to fairytales, I'd believe them! I'd still disagree with them, but I'd believe them to be accurate..

Now ask yourself the same question. No matter what evidence you're shown, your still always desperately gonna believe whatever makes you happy, aren't you?

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy you are confusing certain practices of Christianity with Islam. A muslim does not interpret the Quran on his own. And no where in this religion is there room for killing non combatives. You lack understanding and apparently only getting your information about Islam and Quran from non-Islamic sources. Keep fooling yourself.

  • @starkraftvoll "A muslim does not interpret the Quran on his own". Who/what helps you interpret it? Who helps this person interpret it? Is that person infallible? Why are there different interpretations then?

Let me guess all the muslims that disagree with you aren't "proper" muslims (despite the fact that you must concede that you're fallible). Also they say the same about you? Ditto christianity :D

People define "combative" differently don't they? Religion can justify anything! Scary isn't it?

  • @starkraftvoll So, all the people in the Twin Towers in both '93 and '01 were combatants? What about the people who rode the subway in Spain in '03, or the women who to this day get killed and/or disfigured via acid burns in Pakistan and other extremely religious Muslim countries? Or are you going to use the 'No True Scotsman Fallacy,' which states that only the people who fall into the narrowest of definitions are truly the thing they say they are?

  • @starkraftvoll unfortunately many muslims seem to lack understanding of their own religion as well, as people are being stoned to death for aldultery or killed for apostasy, where they should "only" for example be whipped a 100 times. It would be nice if more people in islamic countries would understand the Quran better, now wouldn't it? You would think they have enough access to islamic sources/correct interpretation .... (agree with you it's not written in the Quran though)

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy No muslim believes that God speaks directly to them. And if it truly was Muslims who flew planes into the twin towers then they weren't following the religion properly. I am a white man raised baptist. Honorably discharged and decorated veteran of special forces and I am a muslim. This video is a fail

  • @starkraftvoll "I am a white man...etc" Please read the description (particularly point 5), I wrote it specifically for people who are described by "Reason 6". Please try to think. "No muslim believes that God speaks directly to them". I haven't stated anything to the contrary. The koran however IS the direct word of god (if you're gullible) and it is indeed god telling people how to act. Fallible people (like you) are left to interpret it.

PS View my follow up to this, entitled "Racist God".

  • Yes, yes, yes.

  • loved this video!

  • I think Atheists are secretly jealous of God fearing people i.e MOST of the World thus the video! Give it up!

  • I am not a brown Muslim, but a white European Muslim. Born as a Muslim, as well as my parents were and their parents and so on...all white Muslims. An the only reason why we are what we are is perfectly explained in your video :)

  • Actually the bible never says we have to be christian.

  • Great Stuff Boet... Keep it up... and nicely put together!

  • Awesome video. Mostly why I was a Christian once. Thumbs up!

  • 2 out of 9 are true. but I am Christian because I believe and have felt the power of God

  • @MrSlathbog ha ha ha, talk about missing the point!

  • 7 out of the 9 are true about me, but they're not reasons I am a Christian. they definitely helped though.

  • If you did more research, you would know that the doctrine of "Hell" nor the "immortality" of the soul isn't viewed as compatible with Biblical teachings by everyone, and that the latter is from the influence by Greek philosophers. Not all Christians (or religious people) believe in "Hell" because they see that it is incompatible with a just & merciful G-d. Don't apply the mainstream Christians to the outer ones. That's called stereotyping ;)

  • Awesome Video

  • i can make you all a agnostic believer. i can prove there are no god at least that cant enter this state of matter for one reason or another. why are there more then one religions? cause those are all wrong . as up yet you cannot prove it exist or not so that is why we all are truly agnostic.

  • I'm a Christian ONLY because I've accepted Jesus as my savior and THEREFORE I grow more and more as a believer, I learn to have faith in God and good acts are just a willful biproduct, not something I was forced to do. Simple as that.

  • @Littledude514 you prove the "unintelligent" part of the video... but don't take it like an offense, it's just that you still fail to comprehend and process the message of the video (which is objectively undeniable).

  • @ximrodriguezx Actually you're wrong about atheists also having atheist parents. Most atheists leave their parents religion because the parents weren't devout in their faith or they had an outside influence like...knowledge?

  • @ximrodriguezx I was raised very heavily Christian and became an Atheist. I have no clue how anyone over the age of 12 could believe in such bull shit.

  • @ThisIsFaber "I was raised very heavily Christian and became an Atheist. I have no clue how anyone over the age of 12 could believe in such bull shit."

It's called brainwashing. It's amazing how powerful it is and how difficult it is for most people to break out of it, especially with family and community pressures.

  • interesting how it brings up slavery by whites yet brushes over (ignores) arabic/muslim slavery.... ? seems a bit of a cop out

  • great video

  • Do not bring up slavery, we don't like to talk about it.

  • 1) my parents aren't 2) I don't know what their parents believed 3) I wasn't raised a Christian, so I cant be brainwashed 4) absolutely not 5) I am 6) Not true. I spent 7 years of research 7) not where I grew up

  • This video reminded me of an important qoute by GW

"I hear its amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with the tuning fork does a raw blink on Hari Kiri Rock. I need scissors! 61"

  • 1. No 2. No 3. No, atheism was 4.No 5. I'm white but that has nothing to do with my spiritual beliefs 6.No, thinking is one of my favorite activities 7. They will only go to hell if they dont accept Jesus 8. Product of a western, Eurocentric bias... lol? mainstream Western society is perhaps the furthest away from Christianity as you can get, Jesus saved me from that. 9. Ehh, i guess. Bible proves itself in a way but only for a believer 10. Yep

  • @cmiller8492 Why do you believe that "Jesus was the flesh embodiment of god"? 1) the subjectivity of your own feelings/experience as a fallible human? 2) an intellectual deduction of the veracity of the bible, necessitated by environmental teaching and inherited cognitive comprehension?

Why does religious adherence overwhelmingly and significantly follow paternal, cultural and geographical patterns? Why do these trends exist even with cultures that worship "false" gods? ie not reason 10.

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy You dont need to use overly-complicated diction my friend, were just talkin. No. 1 can be applied to any human as their feelings and experiences will always affect their decisions. 2. In a way yes, however like in my original comment i have not come to the conclusion of the bible being true from my environment or parents teaching as neither has Christianity as its foundation. Rather the opposite, public school/western culture saturated my head. cont

  • @cmiller8492 Everything follows paternal/cultural/geographical patterns not just what religion a person is. Why? Because development is influenced by these factors that are usually constant inside its own sphere of influence. In modern times of multiculturalism and instant transmission of information erases these reasons as the reason why a person chooses what he does. Im not really sure what your implying by this statement, that religion is only because of the 3 factors? cont.

  • @cmiller8492 Sure, sure it greatly impacts how a person chooses their faith but if it was a certainty there would be no willful conversions, including atheism. These factors affect everything, so singling out religion and tying it to racism is illogical. You make it seem as though if you are not atheist than there is no possibility of thinking for yourself. Thats just not true. We are human not robots, and have every capacity to think and act based on our thoughts.

  • @cmiller8492 " These factors affect everything, so singling out religion and tying it to racism is illogical". It's good advice to understand something before commenting on it.

Interesting fact. No religious person has ever given an explanation for why religious adherence follows geographical, and cultural patterns. Interesting? :D God works in mysterious ways....right?

Please watch my video "racist god", you'll see :D Peace!

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy Your video crosses out "christian" with "racist" but thats not tying them together. Alrighty, it implies that the root of religious belief is the same as how a person becomes racist. Religious adherence to geographical and cultural patterns? Because thats what theyre taught in their culture and geography usually accounts as a physical barrier so it doesnt leave. But again in modern times ideas/religions have no such barrier due to technology.

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy will do, but you know ill have to bother you there too :D cya there!

  • @cmiller8492 "Everything follows paternal/cultural/geographical patterns not just what religion". YEP!!!, which is why we don't cite supernatural agents as causes :D What was that about reason 10? Too funny :D A supernatural cause? Really?

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy You ask a question about the supernatural but dont want the reason for belief to be supernatural? Indeed the we you refer to (guessin the atheist community) has to use a version supernatural explanation for anything unobservable such as the big bang or macroevolution. Inferences guide these conclusions but since there is no empirical proof they are necessarily supernatural. But only when used for reasons of faith does it become irrational religious assumptions

  • @cmiller8492 Yep I'm sure your family is closer to shintoism, right? I can't even name a shito god, can you?

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy nope, I guess the geological factors weren't in agreement with the spread of shintoism

  • Some people say being atheist makes you feel small and unimportant and dull, life is pointless, meaningless, etc...but I think opposite. You're life has no meaning and is pointless if all you believe in is one book, not supported by other works, with other people who believe in that one book whose actions are based on that one book.......just sub'd

  • @ModellMeister Explain how being an atheist makes you that much more interesting? How it makes life have meaning and gives you an identification?

  • @XDmarcsyoXD It just makes you aware that you have a heavy impact on nature and that you have the power of change, we are the top sepecies, we can be doing individual things, thinking freely and 'outside the box', etc

  • @ModellMeister I don't see why being a christian would stop you from being able to think 'outside the box'. In fact I think Christians are quite capable of doing all those things. Christianity is not some box religion which stops you from being individual, it is down to that person to make themself stand out as it is with any situation.

  • I was brought up into a Christian family. But as I grew up, I started to think for myself, I considered God to be unecessary, backed up by nothing and if he did exist he was selfish wishing worship or eternal pain to us. Leaving Christianity to supposedly experience the 'free life' felt relieving at first. Then I realised life was not that different and I would say it was more shitty. Being a Christian made me happy and gave life reason, being an atheist just meant I was another body to rot away

  • @XDmarcsyoXD Why not buddist, so you can escape life, which buddists see as full of suffering and offers a suggestion on how to escape suffering? :)

  • @XDmarcsyoXD That doesn't mean Christianity is true. Plenty of atheists are atheist for the exact opposite of you, their lives turned much better once they stopped mindlessly following their religions. Just goes to show you that everyone's different

  • @andydude30 yep and some people also come from harsher christian backgrounds then I.

  • @XDmarcsyoXD Then you sir was not a real atheist.

  • @kjbass1986 No True Scotsman fallacy...

    look it up

  • I'm going to go with number 10, that Jesus is the flesh embodiment of God.

  • @SummerSunshine1988

Your god is dead to me.

  • @RippdUb : That's fine. It's your choice.

  • I was raised in a liberal home and became a Christian three years ago when I was playing in a hardcore punk band...conditioning does have a lot to do with things for people, but that was not my case. Generalizing things like this is rather foolish. If Christianity is viewed as a "superiority" deal then that rids humility (being humble before God and others) which is at the core of Christian values...and yes these values have been lost in mainstream Christianity.

  • 6 out of 10 of these suggested reasons may probably be true for many Christians. But it's all about seeing the negative and feeling more beautiful while looking at it. This is stuff for kids. Many atheists do a lot better than the specific breed of atheists who happen to see all error and bias at the other end of their pointing finger. Who cares about those who disengage from humanity? They play "elite" - just like those Christian fundamentalists.

  • change:/watch?v=SPVJ-daUxlc

  • Of all the 1000s of cultures in history, the Bible, Jewish/Christian scientists & Creation science philosophy built the foundations of modern science (modern scientific method, peer review process, 1st scientific journals, falsification, occam’s razor, etc.) &pioneered most of its branches. Dr. Hannam (Ph.D. in the history of science from Cambridge) lectures on some of this at the Royal Society (1st scientific society in history, started by a creationist):

    watch?v=I-k24Q01vck (see notes & links)

  • @TruthIsLife7 Retard.

  • @TruthIsLife7

Who had the money? The church. Who had the skills? The educated. How were these people raised? With the belief that Christianity is the sole truth. Childhood indoctrination is to blame. What did they have to oppose it? At best their musings. Then came fossils and even better the discovery of DNA. To top that 19th century philosophy. No true scientist can observe this data and still believe in the fables of the Bible much less Genesis. It's brainwash to teach otherwise.

  • Nature & New Scientist highly recommend Dr. Hannam’s work as solidly researched. The records of history show that the foundations & infrastructure of modern science, education, human rights, morals &more were built largely on a Christian/creationist philosophy & they were drawing both principles & specific concepts, including scientific ones, directly from the Bible. Atheism has tried to kidnap science from its parents and & ban them from it, but is mostly a façade on a Christian superstructure.

  • @TruthIsLife7 LOL are you propably believe that nonsense..... sad

  • Jews & Protestants won ~86% of the Nobel prizes in science from 1900-1990. Without the Bible & Biblical scientists, you wouldn’t have modern science or at best you would be centuries behind the present. People who ridicule religion are like immature children who want to disown the parents that lovingly sacrificed everything for them. Atheism, materialism, etc. malign history to suit their dogma &immorally exclude Christianity from what it built.

  • @TruthIsLife7 not one of them won any nobel prize for anything that had to do with anything in the bible. Christians can be great scientists, just like Hindus or Moslems, aslong they leave away their superstition and stick to evidence.

  • Atheism has less evidence than even the falsest religions &atheist &states have done more harm to human life &to science than any other organization in history, bar none.

Most Christians are now non-white and this change had nothing to do with slavery.

There is no eternal hell in the Bible and it wasn't hardly even mentioned in the Old Testament. SOOOO wrong. There will be temporary hell to destroy abuse, torture, prejudice, etc. once&for all. But, it's not eternal. See wwwDOThelltruthDOTcom

  • @TruthIsLife7 atheism has no evidence at all. because it does not need any evidence at all. it is simply a position of rejecting claims that come without evidence, like the claims of the existence of any god.

just like those that do not belief in the existence of the tooth fairy, they have not a shred of evidence. but lucky they dont need any, because its those making the claim of existence of something that have to provide the evidence.

  • @TruthIsLife7 See Mark 9:42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. 43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

  • @UndefinedLove990 No! Stating with contrived "divine justification" that anybody who disagrees with your happenstantial, inherited, credulous and divisive belief structures will invariably be sadistically tortured in hell, is not only disrespectful, but also malevolent, and a horrifically corrosive agent within our world.

    This video "is kinda" accurate!

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy that was really confusing.. o.0 hahahah

  • Comment removed

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy Eloquently put!

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy Kinda is an understatement.

  • good vid, yet for some posters its a total wooooosh, yip right over ther non critical thinking minds. at the end of the day, religion is mythical nonsense that bloomed into the 3 abrahamics. now theres a dude that knew how to pimp his wife. lol

  • im muslim and im arab and im not brown.. hon! -.-

  • 3 minutes in my life i will never get back. What a stupid video

  • @dkan3 Can you expand upon this please, can you justify it? Why does religious adherence overwhelmingly and significantly follow paternal, cultural and geographical patterns? Are you suggesting that it's not caused by the natural antecedents shown? How do you explain these trends?

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy LOL

I agree with dkan3, that was stupid, the only thing I agree with is when you said "He has not told you to fly planes into buildings", why? It's because he didn't.

Also on your argument give me an example b/c a statement without support is just sad.

  • @kidasterorig111 Then can i present the question which he has failed to respond to.

Why does religious adherence overwhelmingly and significantly follow paternal, cultural and geographical patterns? Are you suggesting that it's not caused by the natural antecedents shown? How do you explain these trends?

Let me guess you can't answer. Shock :D

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy LOL (I'm not shockofgod)

Guess you have to read more textbooks, as archaeologists have discovered men slowly gained more power over women and so it was cultural and not biblical. Your argument is just like any other strawman arguments and besides, is saying that in the past women were treated inferior going to affect the credibility of GOD or the bible?

  • @kidasterorig111 What the hell are you talking about?

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy LOL

Too dumb to comprehend a simple argument lol xD

  • @kidasterorig111 I'll repeat the question.

Why does religious adherence overwhelmingly and significantly follow paternal, cultural and geographical patterns? Are you suggesting that it's not caused by the natural antecedents shown? How do you explain these trends?

Do you even understand the question?

PS are you aware the word "shock" pre-dates any user/username on youtube? "I'm not shockofgod" :D too funny. You saw a word you recognised, and you made the erroneous and simplistic jump. Dumb!

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy LOL

You say "What the hell are you talking about?" meaning you can't understand a simple argument and you call me dumb? Silly atheist.

Just block me dude b/c I WILL WIN THIS YOUTUBE RELIGIOUS DEBATE... which for some reason isn't about religion anymore.

P.S. Did you see Pac vs Marquez fight, that was amazing.

  • @kidasterorig111 You're an idiot! Unfortunately your nonsensical, stupid, incoherent rambling bore no correlation to the question.

Last time!! Why does religious adherence overwhelmingly and significantly follow paternal, cultural and geographical patterns? Are you suggesting that it's not caused by the natural antecedents shown? How do you explain these trends?

Either answer the question (which I KNOW you can't), or concede that you're an ignoramus (which is abundantly truthful). Easy.

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy LOL

I already answered that question, remember when you said "What the hell are you talking about?"

Evidence you are too dumb to comprehend an argument as simple as that. I'll say my argument again.

Textbooks say that men gained more power slowly over women b/c of their power in politics and jobs while women just typically stayed at home to watch their kids.

Also? How does saying women were treated inferior in the bible mean GOD doesn't exist.

    Straight A, AP/GT classes

    :D

  • @kidasterorig111 Tell me you're aware how stupid you are! Please state how a rambled and incoherent comment about men, women, jobs and kids provides justification for a supernatural antecedent for faith in a religion. This video is stating that the reasons for belief are dependent upon natural antecedents ie sociological, psychological. You said you disagree with this, yet you site only natural explanations. Idiot!

  • @dkan3 Well considering you're a dumbass that watches schmoyoho for their autotune crap that anybody could do, it's normal that you don't have an actual appreciation for fine works of art. If you don't like a video, why watch it? Fuck off.

@Dom0nePhilosophy good job on this thing :)

  • I really liked this video, for those of the muslim faith I think it would benefit them most to be translated into their native tongue.

  • smh pure ignorance this world is a sad one

  • I think it's important to remember that this applies to atheism too

    And yeah, pretty much everything

This just seemed a bit one-sided

And I don't like it when stuff is one-sided

    #agnostic here

  • @ihaveafez You wouldn't say its one sided for fairies, or non-racism. But whatever.

  • @SuperZuescannon

Well it IS one sided for non-racism. It could apply to that as well. Let's face it, we know racism is wrong for these reasons, not because we have some sort of improved moral compass over those that lived 100 years ago

Also, there is only one side for fairies to begin with, so your point doesn't make that much sense.

  • @ihaveafez What about magic then? Or wizards? Fairies unicorns, God/s, its all the same.

Stuff that was made up to explain what was once or still is unexplained. (Or just not understood, religious people love being ignorant)

But how is it one sided for Atheism?

  • that is why I'm a theist.

  • U SEXY

  • Greak work in this video, i liked the description.

I am a muslim and i had a hard time thinking of how to answer what is claimed in this. Keep up the good work, with these kind of videos we can evolve.

P.S: I am not sharing my opinion, because no matter what i say it won't convince you, because, as you say, reasons are psychological.

  • @babkrani Thank you very much! You have a wonderfully refreshing approach.

  • @Goddard008, ah well this is awkward, cause im studying physics at St Andrews uni (third best in Britain) and as well as being taught the fact that the big bang theory is widely regarded as being highly illogical (and yes, i do know it wasnt a 'bang' but rapid growth) that presently, the idea of an overall creator seemed to be one of the more believable... awkward for you much? :)

  • abrahamic religions a work of jews

try dharmic religions as buddhism.they don't have a GOD

or Taoist religion followed by korea, china, japan.

they do not have a GOD

  • Ya Ya but what does the bible know, it was written or passed down orally by ignorant bronze age sand dwelling sheep herder who thought the earth was a flat disk and that natural disasters were gods anger.

  • im not sure what has happened to you in life that has made you feel this way towards christians but I know that as soon as I excepted Christ into my heart my whole life changed. and no i didn't go from rich to poor in one day but actually it was the opposite. things actually got worse for me and i know it was a test of my faith from God. after some suffering of family and financial problems, my life was going great and I learned to do everything for the glory of god and no I'm not some perfect

  • @paperbeauty as a christian what did you think of the video? also mind if i ask a few questions? im writing a paper for a friend who wants to convert me and its to as why i dont believe. the parts on psychology. the question is do you question the bible/religion/ god? if yes or no, why? if your answer is you shouldn't and you just dont question it, why? and what would it take to convince you your religions wrong? if nothing, why?

theres no argument or debate to your answer's. just asking.

  • Really good clip. Please keep up the good work!

Religions are dying, all these posts help in this fight against superstition.

  • @Thatguywithlogic, oh, and for science to stop me being a christian, it must answer 1) how we were created (and plausibly, not the big bang theroy, which btw my brother who isnt christian and studied physics at st andrews, third best uni in britain, was taught that it was not possible)

and if science can disprove Christainity, with REAL evidence, then i'll believe, not before :]

  • @maciver95 Uh unfortunately its the other way around, dummy. Science is not making lucrative claims of a supernatural being that created everything. And yes, the Big Bang was/is possible. Maybe learn a few things about physics?? Do you even understand that the big bang was not actually an explosion like most people believe? Learn a few things about science before denouncing it. In order to believe something you should need proof first, not the other way around. Your brain must work backwards...

  • @Thatguywithlogic, im sorry, who was i brainwashed by if i made my religious choice based on my own logic and not to do with others teaching me? are you suggesting i brainwashed myself? cause honestly, id find that impressive ;) and my point is you cant, i repeat, CANT disprove Gods existence, neither can i prove it, that is what FAITH is all about. And i dont think christianity will ever cease to exist since 1) its the biggest religion in the world 2) its constantly growing, not shrinking :]`

  • Even if all believers in Christ couldn't change the faith of every human being on earth tomorrow, it wouldn't exactly prove that they are brainwashed.

  • You do something I could never dream of - destroying the religious point of view without being an asshole.

  • Clear all your sins

    Get born again

    Just repeat a couple lines...

  • @percivul 10) (cont.) explain?

  • 2) no, my point is, physics at least points to the fact that there almost certainly has to be a creator of some kind that began the universe (and btw please do not quote me the big bang, i dont care whether i was christian or not i would never believe it, and if you wish i'll go into the physics, if i wasnt christian however i would almost certainly believe in evolution)

    10) either i dont understand/can find what i wrote or you got the point mixed up (as i have done with one of mine, sorry)

  • @maciver95 Physics does not point to there being a creator. We simply don't know. You made a false dichotomy. Further, a creator is more complex and would have to be created, so that hypothesis makes things worse and doesn't solve the problem. As for believing in evolution - that's a wrong understanding. One learns the observations about the universe and then either accepts or not a theory. In this case the evidence (observations) are overwhelming that evolution occurs.

  • @percivul 7) no, i mean i have never claimed to be superior to any other person :L

  • @percivul 6) i know, but im not saying that, what i mean is you cant prove he doesnt exist, i cant prove he does, so why say 'you cant prove he exists' when they cant prove he doesnt?

  • @percivul 5) yes, but, eg, he would have to change the rule for murderers? if he can change the rules for everyone else why not them? they would be allowed into heaven. this is amazingly difficult to express but God is love, you can love someone and still have to punish them for what they have done wrong, and we have done wrong! and, tbh, if we really really wanted to, a human could follow thecommandments and be perfect in theory point is no one will ever choose to, but we still can escape hell

  • @ percivul 5) not irrelevant, he says youre either white or black with slave ancestors, it isnt true in so so so many cases and thats what im saying!

  • 3) i've read the whole bible several times, the very fact that God chose to give Moses the power to let the Isrealites pass out of slavery in Egypt is love in itself (if you assume the what happens in the bible actually happens for the time being) he could have left them to be slaves but he did not

  • @percivul (sorry but this is going to be in a jumbled order :/ )

    8) please, oh please, oh pretty please quote me that passage

    9) name 3 if there are that many

    1) i can understand where the video is coming from but my point is that it does not happen in a lot of cases, if anything it happens less, my three other siblings arent christian at all, and if parents force their child towards religion when they grow older they will reject it

  • RE: Reason #5

What about all the christian non-white people that werent slaves ?

  • Why would Satan punish me if I was "sinful or bad?" It would seem like he would be happy that I was on his side, and maybe we could get a beer. :D

    Religion gives me the lulz.

  • 7 and 8 are really the same thing aren't they?

  • 6) true, no one can prove God exists, but no one can prove he does not exist

    7) i have never professed to be :L

I think you need to accept, not everyone who is religious is simply narrow minded and chooses their religion based on tradition

  • @maciver95 Actually, most do.

    6) Since no one can prove God exists, you can not run to the opposite side of the argument and assume this is a valid point. That is the Argument from Ignorance.

  • @maciver95 Nobody can disprove that unicorns that crap out 100 dollars bills don't exist either. You are brainwashed whether you like it or not because fact is we were all born atheists. I wonder how many scientific questions must be answered before you people cease to come into being. I bet there won't be religion if immortality and all of the world's problems stemming from 'intelligent design' are solved. 99.999999999999999999999% of the universe will kill us instantly. Most of the earth too.

  • into heaven if you arent perfect? cause thats what you need to be, and beleive me, no one is. Now since we've done things wrong, we need to pay for what we've done wrong, jsut like a criminal does. and that sentance is hell. BUT the way of escape is just by loving jesus, and that is ALL you have to do

    4) God wont torture you if you go to hell, but satan will. and again, for the same reasons as above. but again, if you believe christianity is right then just believe in jesus

    5) mine arent

  • @maciver95

    4) Actually, he will. Since he has the power to shape all things, including the rules to the scenario, it is simply a matter of accepting him blindly (no evidence of what you're accepting) or he casts you into a place of eternal torment. An infinite punishment for a finite crime. You can say we "choose" to go that path if you wish, but again, he makes the rules and could simply forgive everyone, couldn't he? Since he chooses not to, the concept of "all loving" is removed.

  • @maciver95

    5) Irrelevant to the argument as a whole, but OK, your parents aren't white.

  • 1) my parents arent racist, they take ppl for their personality, like i do (which i thought was normal but whatevs)

    2) Im not ignorant, im a Christain first, scientist second, chose my religion after consideration, im not hypocritical of my religion, or selfish, thats what christianity teaches you against

    3) god is love, but god is also perfect. assume that christianity is correct for a moment. we all do things wrong, i think everyone can accept that. and when god sees you, how can he let you

  • @maciver95

    1) This is simply an example of the child following the parent. You could also say, my parents were brick layers and therefore I am too. It applies in most instances.

    2) The two are not interchangeable. To be a believer in faith is the opposite of an acceptor of facts. Scientists do not run on "faith" when they can not understand something... Christians, however, do this with great zeal.

    3) God is not love. Read Exodus & Deuteronomy. We'll revisit afterwards.

  • that is what FAITH is all about. Please, i know youre trying to say that Christians are Christains because of tradition or something similar. well, i can assure you that that isnt the case with me. and i can garuntee there are others who are the same

  • 7) again, not all people who believe in another religion from me are foreign :s my friends budist and he's scottish (like me)

    8) if anything, britain at least has no christain leaning whatsoever, since when did christainity state a support the act of being homosexual? if you want i'll list more?

    9) quote me anywhere in the bible that says 'this is the truth' or similar, if anything it encourages people to think for themselves

    10) that either God or Jesus exists

  • @maciver95

    7) The intent is that something you don't agree with is "foreign" to you. This is a universal truth. It has nothing to do with you accepting the foreign or domestic.

    8) The bible is very clear on homosexuality. They are to be stoned to death.

    9) I'm not sure there is enough room in this box to just list the various passages where god says he's right and that's that.

    10) From which of the 32,000+ different interpretations should we go with this?

  • 1) my dad is a christain but never forced me go to church, or to read the bible or talk about god

    2) his parents were the same

    3) i only became a christian when i

    4) live in the countryside and my school doesnt have a christian ethos, neither do my friends

    5) i really dont see how skin colour comes into this, and for the record, there are black christains whos ancestors werent slaves (and btw i think thats a really racist thing to say)

    6) no one ever pushed me to christianity, i chose it

  • excellent video!

  • I can honestly say that I love your videos! You make tremendous points in them! You deserve plenty more views than what you've been getting. I'm going to tell a lot of my facebook friends about you. Hopefully they will spread the word when they see these! The last video I watched before this was, "I KNOW there is a god" which is another masterpiece in my opinion. Keep doing what you are doing man! The world needs to be more logical. You are one of many steps in the right direction.

  • @JonMichaelReynolds Cheers man, exceptionally generous comments!!! Do I owe you money for them? :D Thanks for spreading the word! PEACE!

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy You deserve those comments man.

  • 0:59 is tremendously wrong! Christianity is an interpretation which came after the Bible! Jesus was Jewish!

Italy as you know is Christian, but at school we study many subjects in order that we can choose. When I was 17 I decided, after all that philosophy, I wanted to know more about the other religions. It took many years, but now I'm back again. I am Christian, and pray God in my way.

  • @LouiseHans10 Poor points. If you genuinely require pedanticism I'll rephrase: The bible outlined all tenets on which christianity (as we know it) would be ascribed. Besides, you're wrong anyway, read Acts 11:26, but this really is just pointless semantics, the religion/belief existed at the time, if not in name.

Most importantly, I'm not sure how your second point does anything other than embolden the points made by the video. It would be true of 99% of people in your scenario. Chance?

  • @Dom0nePhilosophy Well this person is someone who has been inspired by God, but then again not everyone's faith can be changed. There are those who are called to spread the word of God. But your opinion doesn't prove the fact that there is no existence of the creator, God.

I'm not hear to debate, i'm here to share my experience, and if you're not interested, that's fine with me. Not forcing anybody to change. But if there's anybody's willing, then they're welcome to talk to me.

  • What atheist should know, is the reason why religion had started. And why there bad things happening within religion. And there many other religions beside Christianity. I recommend to do some research to know what history in religion is.

  • As an Christian by choose, i have researched other religions. And also the evolution terms. And why do i don't believe in evolution? Because if we ask in evolution 'why' people are born in the world...The answer would be: No reason at all, our being in this world is the same as the animals. I won't accept that, because as human beings our inner self is much more stronger then animals. (for as i know). And i believe that every human is spiritual connected to something.

  • @Grayfox3214

I think you should watch animals and wildlife more often, you should discover extraordinary things. Why dolphins and humans can have such a complicity ? Why orcas rarely attack men even if they could break them in two and have a free meal ? Why can leopards take care of a baby monkeys ?

Our "superiority" is due to our greater self-consciousness, but there may be a possibility that the fact we are born humans is just... a hazard.

  • @Grayfox3214

That however doesn't change the fact that every human should have a destiny to fulfill or something like that, that every human should try to be the most deeply human possible and that every human has to find his place in this very world.

  • @fwine19 thats very true, and thats .posible. Even if you believe in the god or jezus, or any other religion. However, the ones that deny such of an thing or also the ones who abuse religion....

  • None of this points, are ment that i'm an Christian. Nor i'm taught i would go to hell if i don't repel. As many ancient texts and people like H.P Blavastky are telling there world. There is an spiritual place, but...Its not prober told by us. I know the frustrations of atheists who can't stand the: lets pray for god, or you going to hell. But do know, that these people are been brainwashed by the Vitican, priest, rabbi or Imam.

  • VenomFangX, give up boy. You can't win over reason.

  • Weird..

  • i am not agree on 7 point,.. all religions are god's religions,, god is one but he has many faces( every religion is his face)...

if you do not agree then you don't even know one god... no religion is fake and no one goes to hell, every human's destination is too be god, if you pray god you will be god soon but if you not then you will chain up all spicies life back on earth..body will die one day but mind (soul) not

  • Very cool

  • Is this the full, exact, unaltered video that VenomFangX was referring to in his bullshit video?

(I know, saying a VenomFangX video is bullshit is kinda redundant, and doesn't help specify which video I'm talking about, but please, allow me to express my feelings on him, okay? ;3)

  • Only #5 , being white, applies to me. If you want to think critically, see the world with new eyes, and read the prophecies of the Bible yourself, you're quite welcome to. After all, those who seek will find.

  • @TrunkMonkey3000 Will find what? That the Bible is totally ridiculous?

  • @TrunkMonkey3000 I read the bible. It made me an atheist.

  • @TrunkMonkey3000

Your parents ain't religious? Not even their parents? Hum, interessing =P

  • @TavicoMilliet Yeah, no one is religious in my family, or that's even close to me. I do have a passion for the hidden things in this world, and the mysteries.

Jesus said recognize what is in front of your face, and the hidden things will become revealed to you. Humanity does not have eyes that can yet see.

  • Exactly right
