  • lol what a fuckin crap bullshit ahahhaha

  • it`s nerd

  • Hahahaha..absolutely cool advert. Brilliant

  • don't forget the number of mirrors you'd need

  • Comment removed

  • Only Chuck Norris' flashlight can do that

  • wait im hella wrong thanks google haha

  • light takes 6 seconds to go around the world. correct me if im wrong which i likely am haha

  • @scrogathon

    Speed of light = 299 792 458 (m/s)

    Circumference of the Earth (at the equator) = 40 075 160 (m/turn)

    299 792 458 (m/s) / 40 075 160 (m/turn) = 7.48 turn in one second ;)

  • @ppaattrriissee 87537935hfhdksdoo+{": we dont care what that is

  • @cussingbatman

    Erm? Your stupid or what?

  • @scrogathon

No, it goes around world roughly 7 times in second

  • i had to watch this like five times before i figured out what was going on

  • lol thats so funny

  • he was cheating, he used a portal

  • cool but it would still only take 1/7 second to circle earth. The only thing with enough gravity to pull light is a black hole.....thats why its black :) i love watching discovery channel

  • @paintballgundown8 close but not quite right. a black hole is the only known thing that can overcome light and stop it. but large gravity bodies can still bend light. our sun does this. as will any other star in the galaxy and to some very minor degree so will all points of gravity.

  • @XCharger i stand corrected,

  • light isnt affected by gravity instead of circling the world it would continue into space.

    i still think its funny.

  • light isnt affected by gravity insted of circling the world it would continue into space.

    i still think its funny

  • light isnt affected by gravity insted of circling the world it would continue into space.

  • I don't think the earth has enough gravitational energy to pull light around it like that. Tsk tsk.

  • @SodomGomorrahWaDC no, but it would bend the light.

  • It would take 000.265 ms to reach him at that length. Meaning. YOU LIEEDDD TV AD. YOU LIED.

  • @cobolt13 TV NEVER LIES !

  • on a small planet with high gravity it cout work !

  • Awesome ad! Take the nerds (heavenfromhell1 & orkneymist) out of this conversation...

  • lol "Klein und Strak" thats a german Ad

  • LMFAOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No... the light went all the way across the universe and back. Cool...

  • Need that flashlight it bends light

  • maybe if it reflects some mirrors or satellite windows it can actuary go back to his back , but its not very likely and it might burn a whole in to his shirt xD

  • How stupid first : it takes just 0.12 of second for the light to go around the world not 2 seconds. Second : it goes in a straight line not in a curve , and Third: only the slightest movement of his hand and the light will move couple of miles. I know its a commercial but I'm just saying :D

  • lmfao. very creative.

  • AHAHA YES

  • So... the light went around the Earth? Kick ass.

  • Where's Bobby?

  • LOL!!!

  • penis

  • lawl german " klein und stark "

  • Light may curve around large masses of gravity, but it's particles would still escape the earths gravitational pull. The direction would be altered by a very small amount due to the earth's gravity, but it would continue into space and not go along the surface.

  • @USGiorgi it obviously crosses the universe

  • @USGiorgi wait a minute....so this is fake?!?!?!?! oh im so disappointed

  • @hackinracist

In simple terms yes it's fake. Sorry that your and many other viewers simple minds don't understand the basic concepts of why it's fake though.

  • @USGiorgi In simple terms yes that's sarcasm. Sorry that YOURS and many other viewers simple minds don't understand the basic concepts of sarcasm.

p.s. nice try at being an "intellectual asshole" better luck next time ;)

  • @hackinracist

haha. If you think I was trying to act like an intellectual, you're more pathetic than I thought. I was simply stating facts.

    P.S.

your statement would have been sarcastic if my point was trying to say that you were not disappointed. In a sense it was sarcastic, but what I pointed out was your inability to understand what me and many others were trying to say.

  • @USGiorgi So just to clear things up a little bit, I knew this video was fake when I first looked at it and I do in fact (believe it or not) understand why.

  • the earth is round so that is absolutely impossibe

  • light does not have mass its not affected by gravity in the way you think. when light passes a massive object, it is still traveling in a straight path along the surface of time and space, but because time and space is "funnelled" near large objects, the path of the light appears to bend, like a lense. if the object is really massive like a black hole it will bend space so much that the straight path will not be able to escape from the curvature.

  • His hand must be REALLY steady, even if light followed the Earth

  • light can travel around earth 7 times in 1 second, y is there a pause b4 it appears on his back?

  • Because obviously light would follow Earth's curve >.>

  • light does curve and is affected by gravity

  • @ninja6kid say what?

  • @JDW857 he might be right... If a black holes gravity field is so strong that light cannot escape, light must have mass....

  • @ninja6kid rofl seizure where did u go to school?

  • @ninja6kid hmm if i look at it again you might be right i was thinking about it and this is my conclusion: Well If a black holes gravity field is so strong that light cannot escape itself light must have mass? Am I right?

  • Good video. I can't believe people are explaining it. Lol

Oh yeah, I use mine all the time. People in China are always getting in the way though.

  • lmao

  • oh, i get ti, the light travelas around the world, and hits him on the back...Oh...Cool

  • @FuzorDragon480 to bad its a fail because the light would just go up into space....

  • hahahaha nicee mann!

  • The world is flat !!!

  • LMAO good one!

  • Since when does light bend in a circle? I must have missed that day they taught that in science class.

  • @falcon747474 since God created gravity. (It will not go around the Earth, but it will still be curved by the mass of the Earth)

  • @quelorepario god didn't create gravitiy

  • @DamperenDK Yes. Yes He did.

  • @MrDrProfessorBolton No. No He didn't

  • @DamperenDK Tell me where it came from, please.

  • Haha well, that guy must have pretty stable hand... :D

  • haha

  • @FissionNonStop

    Shut up, great commercial ;D

  • lol :D cool one :D

  • hahahaha

  • hehe fun

  • lol

  • It should have been instantaneously on his back since light is fast enough to circle the globe about seven or eight times in one second.... I don't understand why there is a noticeable delay for the spot to reach his back.

    Neat idea tho....

  • @MafferDragonhandEyed and also the fact that light cannot bend, or the blooming effect? Stop picking it apart to make yourself look clever its just an advert.

  • @Dangerbean Well those are the obvious ones, but by the way light can bend quite easily actually. :D

I just bothered me that it could have been the perfect commercial but the producers knew absolutely nothing about how fast light is. I think we all KNOW it is not actually possible, but that delay really bothered me...

  • @MafferDragonhandEyed Maybe the light is so badass it curved around the moon and back around the earth lol.

  • the light even bends around the globe....wow...

  • Lmaooo i gotta admit that's clever, really clever advertising

  • @Zealix ... hahahahaaaaa

You realy think, somebody think it is "real"?

Oh man, you didn´t must write "its fake"

Your comment was realy realy extreme dumb...

  • Lustig

  • @Zealix -.-

  • wow, your fucking smart.

  • @Zealix Wow, thanks for typing an entire comment to let us know that.

  • wow u realized it was fake

  • geile werbung

  • you're the most intelligent thing ive ever seen.

  • ????????

  • i guess its stronger than a light sabre :D

  • Does it go all the way around the world or somin?

  • Around the Universe

  • HAAH THATS sooo cool!

  • WoW

    cute:)
