hey Dan you know that small plate you use on the pottery wheel ( the orange one that you change everytime you make something new) well that. Has that plate ever popped out when you are bringing the clay upwards to center it? It has happened to me twice and idk what im doing wrong, I dont want to have that happen again, cuz it makes a mess when the wheel is going fast xD
thanks for the video. what I like best about these small bowls is that they are very handy in filling small empty spaces in your kiln and they do sell very well.
thanks agian for all your videos and all your hard work in putting it togeather.
Great as always. Can you include a quick overview of the tools you use, particularly the trimming tool that you use on the bottom of the thrown piece as your final step before taking it off of the wheel? I can't get a good look at it and it seems to work VERY well - much better than the usual angled flat stick.
@feeish Ive been throwing for not even half a year and i can make anything. Set goals for yourself and stay dedicated. if you want to make something in partictual then you need to throw that thing over and over untill you master it. you can just make anything you want perfect on your first try.

@pensandcalls Hi,I did a video a while back about my tools.
If you can't find it then just type "my trimming tools" into the main search box and you should see it there.
Cheers,Dan.

Thanks for another quick and useful video!
Would you consider a video talking about the qualities of the clay you use?

When they have set, do you trim the bottoms?

You make it look too easy. How many years have you been doing this? I've been throwing in school for 3 years and have barely improved.
