She is not pleasant company. They did not have that doll during the 90s. When Mattel bought the company they didn't change it to American Girl LLC on the back of their necks yet. But the doll was made by Mattel. The stamp wasn't developed just yet :) Same with my Alexa doll :)

@Webk1nz No, just because she has the PC stamp does not mean she is officially Pleasant Company. A lot of the newer dolls have Pleasant Company stamp on their necks. The only dolls who were ever made by Pleasant Company were Molly, Kirsten, Samantha, Felicity, Addy, Josefina, and a very few collection of Today dolls which are mostly retired. Mattel bought the company around 2000 when Mrs. Rowland retired. This JLY is debuted in 2006.
