@TheGuitar4life "Anybody else think the dropping of the A-bomb had just as much to do with putting a little fear into the Soviets as it did to end the war with the Japanese?"
Hopefully, but we should have A-bombed Moscow, Staligrad and Leningrad 6 times over and gotten rid of the commie bastards in 1945 & 46, before that traitor, Koch, gave classified info to the Soviets so they could build the bomb.
anyway for those who still think hiroshima bombing was needed, try justifying nagasaki's. cuz that was 3 days later by surprise and with no need. just pure unjustifyable hatred. just like the allies bombing Dresden when germany was already defeated and only the war-wounded occupied it.
At one point in his life, Paul says, "I don't regret what I've done because with each one I've killed, the less the chance of us all speaking German today."
I love the Japanese culture, and I'm half German. I STILL think he was right, and every single one of you who insults him are just ignorant and headstrong. He's absolutely right. I guess everyone forgot WHY he did what he did.
Burn in hell Gen Paul Tibbets. Stupid Americans. If Americans kill civilians, they are called heroes. But if other countries kill Americans, they are called terrorist.
Tibbet, If I go to hell, I will have the courtesy to make you burn and suffer in hell for eternity.
@Fredy1718 How dare you?! My name is Cassandry Lynn Tibbetts, and that is my great grandfather's memory you're insulting! He was a brave, honorable man, and you have NO right!
@MusicIsALoveAffair Please don't let the naysayers get to you. I have a autographed photo of your Great Grandfather in my living room. My children have learned the truth about not only his atomic mission, but of the full tour he flew in Europe before that. They regard him as the American, and more importantly, global hero he was. Millions more could well have died, if he hadn't led the 509th the way he did. One man, leading thousands more on the most important military mission in history. Thanks
@neverdullboy Hero....how you can call a hero a monster, who coldly killed million of innocent children and women, who doesn't even feels remorse for that, Oh let me guess you are an "American" well Excuuuse me princess but America is a continent, not a country, and besides the actual America didn't want this to happen there is no excuse for both, Pearl harbor was nothing compared to what he did, so, don't call him what he doesn't deserves, he never saved lives, he just take em away.
@Rumikumatora ...really? Do you not know that most Americans call it a country whether it is or not? That makes no difference. The main point of this is that you don't actually know your history. He did what he had to. For one thing, he was under orders. For another, he was responding to an act of war to PROTECT the place he came from.
@MusicIsALoveAffair ignorance, Mexicans, Canadians, Brazilians, they are also Americans, ignorants want to call it America the US, the US are just a part of America, and none of the other countries of AMERICA call it a country, because they know they are part of AMERICA, god bless America, may the hell burn the souls of all the ones who participated in this war and took the life of innocent beings, god bless your Gramps if he ever felt remorse, if not he may burn in hell with them
@Rumikumatora I'm guessing I am addressing a poorly educated, brainwashed Japanese teenager here, so I won't waste many words on you. The Japanese were an evil race, and still are, behind the scenes. Ever hear of a place called Nanking? It's in China. Nice place, until the Japanese raped every girl from birth to 90 years old, and then bayoneted them to death, and cut their heads off. Bushido, so very brave! Ever heard of a bridge over a river called Kwai? How about the Battan death march? Idiot.
@neverdullboy dumbass ¬¬ have you heard of the border, there were a lot of of people from mexico who were looking for a nice place to live and have lifes, until USA build it, and they also killed many mexicans in the way due their xenophobia, have you heard of racism, it was invented in the US too, before 1950 there were even black and white bathrooms, ok i will calmly say this, there was, and there will never be a hero of war, all of them are losers, there is never a winner, only losers -cont-
@Rumikumatora And about what you've been saying to neveradullboy: I don't agree with what he said about Japanese being evil. They are just like every other race. There are good people, and there are bad. You shouldn't group together an entire race based on acts of the majority. However, about something you said about racism being born in America. No that's not true. There's been racism in every continent on this planet. It just so happened that America was stubborn about letting it go.
@neverdullboy -cont- no matter how you try to justify that act, there is not justification for that, none of the pearl harbor, neither of the hiroshima bombing, neither the Naking stuff and Neither the border and racism, all of the countries had their shameful acts, besides, why are we still Fighting for something that happened time ago, can't we the US Citizens, and the japs live in peace? why are they still bombarding Iraq, don't they realize that the war its just a money and live waste?
@MusicIsALoveAffair Well Excuuuuse me princess, But I would never call a hero someone who killed million of people without remorse, that is called monster, and killing people is definitely not having honor, so girl lets talk civilized if your grandfather for once in his life feel remorse about it, you know that god might have pity of him, but if he didn't sorry his soul will be burning in hell eternally and pay for the million of souls he took away, so.... sorry its the truth and accept it
@Rumikumatora "I would never call a hero someone who killed million of people without remorse, that is called monster" you just called most political leader in history monsters, y'know that?
It's not the truth, and I won't accept such a stupid notion. I'm proud of my great grandfather, and he deserves what respect he got from this and much more. I would prefer not to be speaking German or Japanese, thank you very much. Half German or not, I'm still happy to be American.
@MusicIsALoveAffair Me too I am proud to be an American, but i prefer to be called by my name or my true Nation which i am not going to tell you, and so, they are MONSTERS and what if i do, they are what they are, they are monsters, this why i hate war, Albert Einstein once said "Force always attracts men of low morality" and he was right, did you know that japan was going to surrender, but the US tried to treat some document that they knew they would reject.
@Rumikumatora So you're okay with insulting people in war, but you won't even think about the things they go through. If they're monsters then you're undoubtedly a coward. Men go off to war to protect their homes and loved ones. Every day they make huge choices, and some don't sound that good to those of us who are at home and don't know what battle feels like. How can you call them monsters? You need to realize they're only human and make mistakes just like you. (continued)
@Rumikumatora -continuation- I mean really, you try working on that kind of stress. If they don't do whatever their commanding officer tells them, they could be put in prison, or KILLED. And during battle, there is no right or wrong. Just making sure you and your team, crew, or whatever are safe.
Paul was following orders. And I'm sorry, but Einstein was a mathmatical genius, not a wise man. There's a difference, and his sayings do not only pull true. Japan going to surrender? (continue)
@Rumikumatora -continuation- HA. They started the whole thing by lying about a peace treaty. You expect america to believe them again? ever heard the saying, 'fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me?'
@MusicIsALoveAffair Germany was the one that started the war long ago, and again THE US NOT AMERICA, Einstein was a wise man too and he did wonderful things he didn't even wanted all his discoveries for a purpose like that, yeah i have heard that, call me coward, call me whatever you want, I still think that they are monsters, and so are the ones who bombed pearl harbor, the ones who started a war, the ones who doesn't think about other families and only about themselves, like if -cont-
@MusicIsALoveAffair -cont- like if we were different from them, I know that there are some US Citizens who Know that there is no reason for that, besides why we can't be all like that, look even today we are starting wars that we cannot even afford, the borders, the iraq bombarding, all that stuff, have you heard this phrase "there is no Winner in a war, there are only losers", and so, yeah, i am sorry about calling you gramps a monster...but its my opinion about war, no matter what they do....
@Rumikumatora And now I feel the need to mention that while I HIGHLY agree with what Paul did, that doesn't mean I'm happy that people died. I'm actually defending the Japanese on another video's comment because some idiot is saying that all Japanese people are evil. I love their culture, I've studied the language and the way of life. I'm even an anime freak. My Japanese penpal's name is Oto, and she's like a sister to me. Just wanted to get that out there so no one could call me racist.
@MusicIsALoveAffair Well, i defend Japs too, i just hate when people says that all of them deserved to die, that's the reason why i got mad, well i was thinking about what you said, following orders, but just a question, if he had the option to not drop the bomb, he would still drop it?, if he would not, then I am fine with that, because then it means that he had humanity and a heart, if not, well sorry, again, and i have a lot of penpals, one from jap too, but i'll talk you by PM to not bother
@Rumikumatora The potsdam declaration. You don't even know the name. Surrender means just that. Not "We so proud people, must save face, we no sign, bring much shame to emperor" The leaders of that nation had a choice. They made the wrong one. The blood of the Japanese people is on the hands of their own leaders. Had the "merciful" Japanese been able to develop Nazi bomb technology, which was in transit from Germany to Japan via submarine, before being sunk, they would have killed millions more.
@MusicIsALoveAffair NO Right???? Please tell me first where does any man somehow get the right to take other peoples life!!! If you can answer this question fairly, I will be open to discus the insult of your grandfathers memory.
@AsamoyaSanmon How about when the outcome of not taking that life may destroy the lives of your loved ones and yourself? If he hadn't done what he did, I may not have been born, nor my father or mother. He may have lost his wife. THAT is most certainly a reason. In doing what he did, he saved countless more lives. I'm not saying that everyone who died deserved it. Honestly, I've defended peoples as a whole saying that we should never judge an individual on a mass.
@AsamoyaSanmon But that doesn't mean I'm going to risk my loved ones for theirs, as harsh as that may sound. If we sat around and did nothing, then that's what we would be. Nothing. If someone came into your house one night and threatened your family, really threatened with the serious intent to harm, would you let them? Or would you, if you had the opportunity, pick up that gun, tell them to get out, and then shoot them if they refused?
@AsamoyaSanmon I believe that in this situation, the issue of right and wrong can only be based on opinion. We need to focus on the fact that Paul Tibbetts did what he did with the intent to protect, which is a base instinct inside of every one of us. He wanted to save the country he loved and the people he loved in it. He was being the soldier he was taught to be and following orders which he could not disobey. This is the exact mold for a hero in other situations, why is it different for him?
@Rumikumatora Well you should know this, you think they're monsters. Well I think people like you who condemn the ones trying their best to do good are the true monsters. If it were up to you, we'd all be slaves, dead or worse. And yes, there are things MUCH worse than death. You say you're sorry for calling Paul a monster? no you're not, otherwise you wouldn't have done it in the first place.
I don't like war either, but I'm not stupid. I know it's necessary. -continued-
@MyLovelyHomicide It was all they knew to do at the time. I'm not saying it was very smart. If I had my way, nuclear bombs would be non existant. My family is a tad bit paranoid, so we're a little nervous about what would happen if another war like that went on. I AM saying that Paul was given orders, and he carried them out to the best of his ability in order to keep his loved ones safe.
@MusicIsALoveAffair yeah of course. i agree on that: he did what he had to do. he followed orders for his country and i dont blame this man at all. i blame the government of the USA at that time for doing a nuclear test over a populated city (over 2 actually). since nobody ever used nuclear bombs before (or after) , i guess the world was used to deal with those war situations in another way. so their use wasnt really needed. in my opinion it was all about making the "real situation" test.
@MusicIsALoveAffair well, im not "anti-american" like so many people around the world. i think USA is one of the countries that uses dirty hidden methods to achieve goals of power and superiority. people tend to critizise it more than any other country just because its the most powerful in the world at the moment.
@MyLovelyHomicide Neither am I, don't take what I said the wrong way. I'm not anti-american either, I just think that a lot of what we've done is wrong as of late. And you're right. I know people who complain about the same things in other places. It just happens that at this point America's a good scapegoat. All we're doing is being a step ahead for a while. Not that this is a good thing.
-continuation- and Germany may have started the war, but we wanted to stay out of it UNTIL JAPAN FORCED US TO TAKE ACTION. And yes, we're taking on too much with the war today. I don't support it. I do however think it was a MISTAKE. The president is ONLY HUMAN. As I already said, there is severe stress going on. Why do you think most presidents come out of office with white hair, even if they're not that old? -continued-
-continuation- it was a stupid move, yes, but he was doing what the people wanted. Everyone seems to forget that at the beginning of the war everyone was saying, 'yes! We should go for it!' The people who wanted nothing to do with it were actually the minority. But now everyone's blaming the president.
So I guess all of us are monsters, right? That's basically what you're saying.
do not understand why these things happen, what is spent on weapons, it could invest in making productive land, water purification, stop the pollution, it is important to kill, win, fight, someone says that wars are necessary to eliminate beings humans, but other methods should be more humanitarian than bombs
millions of people inocent die, but why the soldiers dont killed soldiers , why they kill inocent people, there are not anything reason, only one we are crazy, many people are angry just by this video, why? this situation has already happened and can not do anything
although we are from different countries are fellow human beings.
problems among presidents, they are just not of the soldiers and people
hero??? you kill many childrens and old people, why?? you shoul be kill soldiers not inocent people. Burning in the hell... Bad man!! Burning in the hell!!!
look people....it was not gen paul tibbets who made the decision to drop the bomb. it was pres. truman. tibbets was just following his orders. just remember pearl harbor. the japs attacked the US for no reason. we caused nothing. to be honest that was pay back for all the lives lost there. he was doing his job like each of you would.

Hero! Paul Tibbets is a man that saved thousands of American lives by doing his duty! A million Japanese lives is not worth one American life! The Japanese were cold killers, raper's, pedifiles and general scum during this time period.
@ride442 Fuck you for even making that comment. A million japanese lives are not worth one American life? You're a stupid fuck. Who the hell do you think you are to make that determination?

Hopefully, but we should have A-bombed Moscow, Staligrad and Leningrad 6 times over and gotten rid of the commie bastards in 1945 & 46, before that traitor, Koch, gave classified info to the Soviets so they could build the bomb.
SteveLLW 7 months ago
anyway for those who still think hiroshima bombing was needed, try justifying nagasaki's. cuz that was 3 days later by surprise and with no need. just pure unjustifyable hatred. just like the allies bombing Dresden when germany was already defeated and only the war-wounded occupied it.
MyLovelyHomicide 8 months ago

MusicIsALoveAffair 10 months ago
@MusicIsALoveAffair Please don't let the naysayers get to you. I have a autographed photo of your Great Grandfather in my living room. My children have learned the truth about not only his atomic mission, but of the full tour he flew in Europe before that. They regard him as the American, and more importantly, global hero he was. Millions more could well have died, if he hadn't led the 509th the way he did. One man, leading thousands more on the most important military mission in history. Thanks
neverdullboy 10 months ago
@neverdullboy Thank you, you don't know how much I appreciate that.
MusicIsALoveAffair 10 months ago
@neverdullboy Hero....how you can call a hero a monster, who coldly killed million of innocent children and women, who doesn't even feels remorse for that, Oh let me guess you are an "American" well Excuuuse me princess but America is a continent, not a country, and besides the actual America didn't want this to happen there is no excuse for both, Pearl harbor was nothing compared to what he did, so, don't call him what he doesn't deserves, he never saved lives, he just take em away.
Rumikumatora 10 months ago
@Rumikumatora ...really? Do you not know that most Americans call it a country whether it is or not? That makes no difference. The main point of this is that you don't actually know your history. He did what he had to. For one thing, he was under orders. For another, he was responding to an act of war to PROTECT the place he came from.
MusicIsALoveAffair 10 months ago
@MusicIsALoveAffair ignorance, Mexicans, Canadians, Brazilians, they are also Americans, ignorants want to call it America the US, the US are just a part of America, and none of the other countries of AMERICA call it a country, because they know they are part of AMERICA, god bless America, may the hell burn the souls of all the ones who participated in this war and took the life of innocent beings, god bless your Gramps if he ever felt remorse, if not he may burn in hell with them
Rumikumatora 10 months ago
@Rumikumatora I'm guessing I am addressing a poorly educated, brainwashed Japanese teenager here, so I won't waste many words on you. The Japanese were an evil race, and still are, behind the scenes. Ever hear of a place called Nanking? It's in China. Nice place, until the Japanese raped every girl from birth to 90 years old, and then bayoneted them to death, and cut their heads off. Bushido, so very brave! Ever heard of a bridge over a river called Kwai? How about the Battan death march? Idiot.
neverdullboy 10 months ago
@neverdullboy dumbass ¬¬ have you heard of the border, there were a lot of of people from mexico who were looking for a nice place to live and have lifes, until USA build it, and they also killed many mexicans in the way due their xenophobia, have you heard of racism, it was invented in the US too, before 1950 there were even black and white bathrooms, ok i will calmly say this, there was, and there will never be a hero of war, all of them are losers, there is never a winner, only losers -cont-
Rumikumatora 10 months ago
@Rumikumatora And about what you've been saying to neveradullboy: I don't agree with what he said about Japanese being evil. They are just like every other race. There are good people, and there are bad. You shouldn't group together an entire race based on acts of the majority. However, about something you said about racism being born in America. No that's not true. There's been racism in every continent on this planet. It just so happened that America was stubborn about letting it go.
MusicIsALoveAffair 10 months ago
@neverdullboy -cont- no matter how you try to justify that act, there is not justification for that, none of the pearl harbor, neither of the hiroshima bombing, neither the Naking stuff and Neither the border and racism, all of the countries had their shameful acts, besides, why are we still Fighting for something that happened time ago, can't we the US Citizens, and the japs live in peace? why are they still bombarding Iraq, don't they realize that the war its just a money and live waste?
Rumikumatora 10 months ago
@MusicIsALoveAffair Well Excuuuuse me princess, But I would never call a hero someone who killed million of people without remorse, that is called monster, and killing people is definitely not having honor, so girl lets talk civilized if your grandfather for once in his life feel remorse about it, you know that god might have pity of him, but if he didn't sorry his soul will be burning in hell eternally and pay for the million of souls he took away, so.... sorry its the truth and accept it
Rumikumatora 10 months ago
@Rumikumatora "I would never call a hero someone who killed million of people without remorse, that is called monster" you just called most political leader in history monsters, y'know that?
It's not the truth, and I won't accept such a stupid notion. I'm proud of my great grandfather, and he deserves what respect he got from this and much more. I would prefer not to be speaking German or Japanese, thank you very much. Half German or not, I'm still happy to be American.
MusicIsALoveAffair 10 months ago
@MusicIsALoveAffair Me too I am proud to be an American, but i prefer to be called by my name or my true Nation which i am not going to tell you, and so, they are MONSTERS and what if i do, they are what they are, they are monsters, this why i hate war, Albert Einstein once said "Force always attracts men of low morality" and he was right, did you know that japan was going to surrender, but the US tried to treat some document that they knew they would reject.
Rumikumatora 10 months ago
@Rumikumatora So you're okay with insulting people in war, but you won't even think about the things they go through. If they're monsters then you're undoubtedly a coward. Men go off to war to protect their homes and loved ones. Every day they make huge choices, and some don't sound that good to those of us who are at home and don't know what battle feels like. How can you call them monsters? You need to realize they're only human and make mistakes just like you. (continued)
MusicIsALoveAffair 10 months ago
@Rumikumatora -continuation- I mean really, you try working on that kind of stress. If they don't do whatever their commanding officer tells them, they could be put in prison, or KILLED. And during battle, there is no right or wrong. Just making sure you and your team, crew, or whatever are safe.
Paul was following orders. And I'm sorry, but Einstein was a mathmatical genius, not a wise man. There's a difference, and his sayings do not only pull true. Japan going to surrender? (continue)
MusicIsALoveAffair 10 months ago
@Rumikumatora -continuation- HA. They started the whole thing by lying about a peace treaty. You expect america to believe them again? ever heard the saying, 'fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me?'
MusicIsALoveAffair 10 months ago
@MusicIsALoveAffair Germany was the one that started the war long ago, and again THE US NOT AMERICA, Einstein was a wise man too and he did wonderful things he didn't even wanted all his discoveries for a purpose like that, yeah i have heard that, call me coward, call me whatever you want, I still think that they are monsters, and so are the ones who bombed pearl harbor, the ones who started a war, the ones who doesn't think about other families and only about themselves, like if -cont-
Rumikumatora 10 months ago
@MusicIsALoveAffair -cont- like if we were different from them, I know that there are some US Citizens who Know that there is no reason for that, besides why we can't be all like that, look even today we are starting wars that we cannot even afford, the borders, the iraq bombarding, all that stuff, have you heard this phrase "there is no Winner in a war, there are only losers", and so, yeah, i am sorry about calling you gramps a monster...but its my opinion about war, no matter what they do....
Rumikumatora 10 months ago
@Rumikumatora And now I feel the need to mention that while I HIGHLY agree with what Paul did, that doesn't mean I'm happy that people died. I'm actually defending the Japanese on another video's comment because some idiot is saying that all Japanese people are evil. I love their culture, I've studied the language and the way of life. I'm even an anime freak. My Japanese penpal's name is Oto, and she's like a sister to me. Just wanted to get that out there so no one could call me racist.
MusicIsALoveAffair 10 months ago
@MusicIsALoveAffair Well, i defend Japs too, i just hate when people says that all of them deserved to die, that's the reason why i got mad, well i was thinking about what you said, following orders, but just a question, if he had the option to not drop the bomb, he would still drop it?, if he would not, then I am fine with that, because then it means that he had humanity and a heart, if not, well sorry, again, and i have a lot of penpals, one from jap too, but i'll talk you by PM to not bother
Rumikumatora 10 months ago
@Rumikumatora The potsdam declaration. You don't even know the name. Surrender means just that. Not "We so proud people, must save face, we no sign, bring much shame to emperor" The leaders of that nation had a choice. They made the wrong one. The blood of the Japanese people is on the hands of their own leaders. Had the "merciful" Japanese been able to develop Nazi bomb technology, which was in transit from Germany to Japan via submarine, before being sunk, they would have killed millions more.
neverdullboy 10 months ago
@MusicIsALoveAffair NO Right???? Please tell me first where does any man somehow get the right to take other peoples life!!! If you can answer this question fairly, I will be open to discus the insult of your grandfathers memory.
AsamoyaSanmon 3 weeks ago
@AsamoyaSanmon How about when the outcome of not taking that life may destroy the lives of your loved ones and yourself? If he hadn't done what he did, I may not have been born, nor my father or mother. He may have lost his wife. THAT is most certainly a reason. In doing what he did, he saved countless more lives. I'm not saying that everyone who died deserved it. Honestly, I've defended peoples as a whole saying that we should never judge an individual on a mass.
MusicIsALoveAffair 3 weeks ago
@AsamoyaSanmon But that doesn't mean I'm going to risk my loved ones for theirs, as harsh as that may sound. If we sat around and did nothing, then that's what we would be. Nothing. If someone came into your house one night and threatened your family, really threatened with the serious intent to harm, would you let them? Or would you, if you had the opportunity, pick up that gun, tell them to get out, and then shoot them if they refused?
MusicIsALoveAffair 3 weeks ago

-continued-
MusicIsALoveAffair 10 months ago
@MusicIsALoveAffair war is necessary. not nuclear bombing
MyLovelyHomicide 8 months ago
@MyLovelyHomicide It was all they knew to do at the time. I'm not saying it was very smart. If I had my way, nuclear bombs would be non existant. My family is a tad bit paranoid, so we're a little nervous about what would happen if another war like that went on. I AM saying that Paul was given orders, and he carried them out to the best of his ability in order to keep his loved ones safe.
MusicIsALoveAffair 8 months ago
@MusicIsALoveAffair yeah of course. i agree on that: he did what he had to do. he followed orders for his country and i dont blame this man at all. i blame the government of the USA at that time for doing a nuclear test over a populated city (over 2 actually). since nobody ever used nuclear bombs before (or after) , i guess the world was used to deal with those war situations in another way. so their use wasnt really needed. in my opinion it was all about making the "real situation" test.
MyLovelyHomicide 8 months ago
@MyLovelyHomicide Now THAT I have to agree with. America is despicable. I can admit it, I'm not blinded by red white and blue like I was as a kid.
MusicIsALoveAffair 8 months ago
@MusicIsALoveAffair well, im not "anti-american" like so many people around the world. i think USA is one of the countries that uses dirty hidden methods to achieve goals of power and superiority. people tend to critizise it more than any other country just because its the most powerful in the world at the moment.
MyLovelyHomicide 8 months ago
@MyLovelyHomicide Neither am I, don't take what I said the wrong way. I'm not anti-american either, I just think that a lot of what we've done is wrong as of late. And you're right. I know people who complain about the same things in other places. It just happens that at this point America's a good scapegoat. All we're doing is being a step ahead for a while. Not that this is a good thing.
MusicIsALoveAffair 8 months ago
@MusicIsALoveAffair If America is despicable, why don't you pack up and leave!!!!!!!!!
tank3ful 5 months ago
-continuation- and Germany may have started the war, but we wanted to stay out of it UNTIL JAPAN FORCED US TO TAKE ACTION. And yes, we're taking on too much with the war today. I don't support it. I do however think it was a MISTAKE. The president is ONLY HUMAN. As I already said, there is severe stress going on. Why do you think most presidents come out of office with white hair, even if they're not that old? -continued-
MusicIsALoveAffair 10 months ago
