I bet after John's death and even Martha's, and getting arrested in Japan facing 7 years hard labor. This must of been no joke and made him retool himself into what he is today.
@wellingtonrockchicky haha That's exactly what all the critics started doing when his McCartney I and II stuff got remastered a couple months back. His first McCartney is him paving the way for indie music, and his second is him being experimental and even crazy. And both were recorded at home with him doing all the instruments.
The black & white footage is from the Laurel & Hardy 1934 film ' Babes in Toyland'. Good movie and a catchy song from McCartney. A strange fusion of song and video here, but I like the feeling I got when I watched it.
The video is awesome... somehow it really fits. I can forgive the over-repetitiveness. I'm scared what you could come up with if you had made a real effort.
No, it doesn't. And like I said, I didn't even make an effort. Found out it wasn't on Youtube, or at least not properly, so there you go. Thank you though.
AMAZING.
Never take this down.
Paul will be properly appreciated by the future people.

Fun video, but the song speed has been turned up so should not sound like this... just a little slower ;)

If this didn't have the name "Paul McCartney" labelled to it, this garbage would have gone no where.

You could have used more variety like you did at the beginning instead of repeating the same clip over and over for most of the song.
And 0:17 - I want her to be my temporary secretary. ;)

i feel sorry for all the mccartney critics.
when he is (& they are all) dead
all the future kids will be worshipping his solo genius.
after completing mainstream genius with the beatles - this is naive art!

Paul won't die; he's already survived one 'death'. that one was fake though i suppose

His Fireman stuff is also awesome.

Why didnt Mac continue in this vein for the whole 80's?
augustusdes 2 years ago 3
yes, it certainly would have been a vast improvement on everything else he slopped out in the 80s (or 90s or 00s)
