Did you notice as your hair got longer your curl pattern started to change? Like my hair is so tight when it shrinks but sometimes it's about yout texture when it's well conditioned or right after I clip my ends & do a wash & go..but about mid week or so...my hair is about a 4a texture lol. I'm noticing my curls are dropping a bit tho. I hope it's your texture when it grows that length! It's right at the top of my shoulders now..just below my ears when it shrinks and taking FOREVER to grow lol.

@illyPink...i did the same thing, when i first heard her i said she sound like a trini then i looked at her name and i said...there you go she's a trini. @Trinicurlygirl...I never even heard of the flax gel but i will be looking for it . my hair texture is also 3b/3c so hopefully i get the same results..looks cute. great job

thank you SO MUCH for doing this vid. i will be natural for 1 year on jan 7th and i will do my first wash and go. i wanted to use flax seed but wanted to see how it would turn out as opposed to my protein gel...THANK YOU! :-) I WILL get the flax seed instead of using my gel.

I love this gel..I add a Lil olive oil for extra shine, aloe gel to make it a Lil thicker and more moisture, and a couple of drops of vitamin E as a preservative. But...its good on its own too.

@mingligoode12 Um, there's no particular reason. I just had heard that it provides moisture and hold, and my hair loved it, so it became a staple for me. I don't use any store bought gels like Eco Styler or anything like that any more cause they dried my hair out. HTH

Lovely results! Please can you tell me if the gel takes long to dry and whether it dries with a crunch or as soft and bouncy as it looked?

@missangie11 Depends on how much you use. If it dries with a crunch you can use coconut oil or some other oil on top and 'scruch out the crunch" Most of the time my results aren't crunchy. The gel takes a while to dry, but that coud also be because my hair takes hours to dry in gneral. It doesn't take as long as Kinky-Curly or Eco styler, but it does take a while. HTH!
