nice shooting I have been trying to get rid of them at my house but I only have a crosman 2100 but there are like at least 100 of them between my house and my neighbors
Ive killed over 30 grackles with my rws 350 magnum. I shoot from back in the room through a hole I cut out of my screen. Built a suppressor for it too. I shot one and the other didn't even notice. I use crosman Destroyers in .177
ever think about adding a tko shroud? i put a 6.5" on my custom 2240 and man that gun is silent now. idk if you would need it but im going to add one to the disco im ordering .
i saw a cow bird in there too, theri the ones that look exactly like grakcles but a brown greyish head and neck, all i use is a 66 pumpmaster and some hollow point pellets and they get the job done while my gamo big cat is in wisconsin
man I don't know how but I accidently killed a bird with my crosman gun that I can actually easily follow and watch the pellet dome from where I fire to the end of my yard. That thing can't barely shoot through cardboard and yet it killed a bird. I've shot other birds and they just shrug it off but I shot this one dead center in the back and it flapped twice and died. my daisy would have shot completely through the bird so I'm not firing at birds anymore. squirrels are still okay.
Nice video. Made me smile because I hate those damned birds. They have returned to my house and they are now hissing and screeching all over the place once again.
I laughed every time I saw feathers fly. Those evil birds are hurting things for the nice birds in my yard like the Mockers and doves . I can't use my .22 because I have close neighbors, but I plan to start getting the grackles with a quiet pellet gun soon to make ant food out of em.
Grackles are actually covered by the Migratory Bird Act, so they enjoy federal protection here in the US. That being said, I absolutely hate them, used to shoot them regularly as a kid, and even though I know better now, I'd drop the hammer on one every chance I could. Nasty creatures; they'd get in our trash, chase off song birds, raid nests, and just generally aggravate me.
Great video! Brought a smile to my face every time I saw those feathers fly!
@AirRifleandBowHunter oh yeah when i was commenting on your other video I forgot to say the biggest disadvantage of the walther falcon hunter edition. It kicks so hard it broke the stop pin on my new ONE PIECE MOUNT! I bought it to handle the recoil but the original mounts worked way better.
Do you know where I live? I don't live where you live - the laws are different here. Where I live grackles are not native and are considered pests and they are LEGAL to shoot. Remember that the laws are different from place to place. You should check the laws for the place where the situation is occuring before you go making an unecessary comment. Thank you.
soo you live in Mexico? because last time I checked grackles are native to all of the US. I am studying this in college( so i think i would know). But anywho i am sure your just a redneck hillbilly that has nothing else better to do then shoot native birds...then think it is soo funny to post them on YouTube. People like you should be in jail.
I live in Ontario, Canada. If you look up Ontario's hunting regulations you will see that grackles are legal to shoot under the authority of a small game licence (which I have).
ohh sucks for u bud. looks like you flunked out of ur bird studies...but anywho i am sure your just another pain in the ass tree hugger that has nothing else better to do than waste other people's time, as well as your own, then think its funny to post comments on YouTube. People like you should be in the FREAK SHOW.
crackles are pest bird and are known for killing other birds, destroying their nests and eating their young......not to mention they are notorius for damaging property........
Don't worry, you'll have NO Problem taking rabbits with the Discovery. I've taken a coon and a groundhog with it. Both went straight down with a single head shot. I'm sure you'll like the Disco, it's a really nice gun.
.22 caliber with 16.0 Grain Pointed Predator pellets and some cheap ones for targets. I have two questions about this gun. If I won't be shooting it too often. Is it better to get rid of all the air inside, or it can be stored inside for a long time? and a second question is - do you think I will loose some accuracy/kicking power by using regular air instead of the gas?
co2 actually doesnt have as much kick to it.......so from what Ive ever read co2 will give you more shots, but a lower velocity, hope this helps, cheers...........
That is hands down the best grackle shooting video ever. I've got a bit of a grackle problem myself. I'm using a Crosman Phantom 1000X in .177 with a Venturi Gas Ram and a Crosman Tac 77 Elite in .177 to solve it. Three words for you. Busting Grackle Ass.
I loved your video. I came across a site that will help your channel/video become more popular. It has really helped me out a great deal. The name is T h e t u b e v i e w s . N e t
Whether you dislike or like the grackles...they are illegal to kill. Federally protected! Now, you can shoot Starlings and European sparrows.

what is the difference between a crow and a grackle please reply
okeydokey243 2 years ago
@okeydokey243
Google "crow" and "grackle". Grackles are a LOT smaller than crows and grackles have a blueish/purple head and neck.

Thanks for the comment! Glad you liked it.
Here in Ontario, Canada all you need is a small game licence and you can shoot as many grackles as you want. They aren't protected up here!
Thanks again!
