Easily The Greatest Movie Teaser ever made. In fact it's The Greatest by fucking miles. The best ones ever all seem to show footage that isn't in the movie itself. Rocky 4 teaser is probably the 2nd best ever but this is off the fucking scale awesome!
Goddamn. I saw this trailer for the first time when I went to see that live-action Flintstones turd. LOL. Yes, that movie. lol. Of course, I don't think there was a single boy my age who cared about watching The Flintstones afterward. lol.
Anyway, it's incredible how well T2 has aged over the years. That's why it's still a better sequel and a better film than The Dark Knight could ever hope to be.
Both are great both and Luke you gotta be thankful for Nolan saving the Batman franchise after that fruitbat Schumacher ruined it but no batman version will ever match the animated Batman and Mark Hamil is a superior Joker to anyone. For other good sequels, what about Aliens, Dawn of the Dead (1978), Evil Dead 2, Back to the Future 2 & 3, Indy 3, Empire, Toy Story 2, Godfather 2, Shrek 2, Spider-Man 2, Good Bad and Ugly, X2, or whatever great sequel there is.
I will never forget seeng this at the theater with my lady doing the chick-flick movie thing. Pretty Woman I think--this came on, the sound was blasting, and everyone just stared. I was so amped, the movie was just window dressing after that teaser. One of the best trailers of all time and it was 20 years ago now!!!
The entire audience waiting for the trailers to end. Then, this. "What is it" everyone asks when it shows the first 2 seconds? Then, the first bit comes on. A metal skull, with something welding it. Tensions rise, and it moves over and the question is still in your head "can it be..?" then, the Endo's body appears, and the arms are put into place, the thought remains "It can't be..." Then, the arm moves, and everyone has one thought: "IT'S THE FUCKING TERMINATOR!!!"
boy you bet it did... I wish there was a machine that could wipe your mind clean because when I first saw it, i was fucking fantastic because you didn't know what was going down. At the Galleria, I was like, "watch out!!!" when the terminator was right behind john, because you think it's evil, but it turned out to be good, I nearly shit my pants...
Yes it was awesome - sort out your 80's fixation because that decade sucked balls - 1991 Nirvana smells like teen spirit ... thats when the fun started

Not a patch on the original but still a great action with an awesome future scene at the beginning.
Cameron was my favourite director at one point, but after Titanic and Avatar I've lost interest...
