@mamaloney1 carbon filters add drag, but as long as there clipped to the bowl/ashcatcher and you remove both before you take your hit removes all the drag, also wanna make sure your carbon filter doesn't gwet clogged so stir your carbon around every 5-10 rips

@djngar  best money i ever spent on an accessory for my glass! smooths out the hits, improves taste of shitty herb(if you even bother to deal with shitty product! lol) and removes impurities in the smoke from entering the bong chanmber which helps to keep it way cleaner!!

Yes it keeps it much cleaner. in fact, i would say it keeps it like 10x cleaner or more. Keeps all ash out, as well as filters the smoke so that it is completely free of any toxins or impurities. This leaves you with a clean, good tasting smoke. It makes a HUGE difference. I rarely dont use one. ( i have 2.. one 18.8, one 14.2. joint sizes to fit all my glass on glass bongs).
