  • his playing really a "storm", as the real name of this prelude

  • Clearly third scale. Amazing!

  • Not good because it is too fast!

  • @siksill maybe you could learn him ;)

  • It's really The Storm performance :P

  • Poor guy , he was kicked out of the competition

  • I like his later recording better (v=71oCexIXk9Q). This one is aggressive at the end. rather than passionate.

  • what a fury damn boy

  • hearing this I understand he did not win.... argerich was wrong, horrible wrong.... this should not be the futur for piano play....

  • @uhartchristian You are horrible wrong.... I think I heard he was not very well prepared for this competition. Just mentioning this, doesn't matter that much. What i want to say is that you can't judge him by just this piece. Pogorelich is a genius whether you like it or not, a true genius.

  • OK for the dynamics and thundering...

  • In my opinion, even though this performance is technically really strong, is a bit un-chopin like. I think it's a bit too harsh and intimidating. too student-like for me and not a competition-winning playing. that said, am a big fun of Pogorelic's...

  • Pogo's hands are too big that his left hand plays it without moving......

  • i'd rather listen to a version like this, where even though it's got mistakes there's still an emotional fire going underneath it all, than a note-perfect version that's too robotic, and that the player just doesn't feel at all. when you listen to pogo's playing you can feel the music flowing through his entire being.

  • @fledgehog asians are the example of robotizaton and lack of soul

  • Ferocious!

  • his mistakes are beautifullll

  • Better than Son.

  • chopin musta been fuckin angry when he wrote this

  • @fledgehog He just converted a storm with its thunders, heavy rain and wind into music.

  • this is too much XD i can understand passion but so many mistakes makes it hard to listen to

  • @djpitns you're a moron. Sorry.

  • everyone's opinion is ok if sincere. Mine is that there is here such a commitment to the work, with an intense purpose to serve the music ! that leads to a tremendous performance. I'm personaly moved by this vison and immense means to serve it.

  • selfish, self-serving, inconsiderate.

  • @consult3d how so?

  • shallow, messy, lacking commitment

  • @AristYdes you surely must have shit for ears?

  • Hehe... Unbelievable that he played with so much passion during a competition. He made lots of mistakes, but this interpretation is unique, incredibly intense and strong!
