Is it not more practical to go towards the creator of the problem, instead of trying to attack the problem at another place? Clearly the extremists are created due to the situation placed on Afghanistan by invading foreigners which have constantly tried to steal these people's land. If it was not for this situation created by Britain/U.S/Alexander the Great, and even others before Afghanistan would have no reason to have an extremist nature. The root cause is hegemony.

Afghan Culture is full of corruption, intimidation and strong hierarchy that prevents the younger generation to tribute. Everyone who thinks it will change with money or effort within 1 generation, clearly has never been there. It takes at least 3 generations for people to change the way of thinking, and a visible example next door. And since imams are ridiculing any form of americanization, it's gonna take a long time.. It's not that the world has too many resources...its that there isn't enough resources to go around. I'm lucky enough to live in a region with some of the worlds largest oil fields, but also one of the costliest places to live in North America. If the entire word had the same amount of natural resources as Alberta then the world would have a shared common wealth without such huge gaps between the wealthy and poor. I disagree greatly!
