guitar- most (or all) of your band knows your playing it wrong, but it'll come :)

bass- playing was really well done! but your amp sounds.. well, terrible

drums- you were the best part of it all, with better musicians, you would sound pro

horns- great job! tone is tough on brass instruments, well done!

vocals- what you lack in pitch, you make up for in enthusiasm! really,

overall- people want a good show, they can listen to the CD at home, and you delivered!

vocals were actually not as bad as people are making them seem, you can tell its a bad system. That being said, i don't think your voices fits the ska sound (its a very unique singing voice) notice how this is real constructive criticism, not being an asshole then passing it off as constructive. The guitarist needs to learn syncopation, it's a wonderful thing.

Being a drummer i can say with confidence, nice job man, not a wicked hard (nor terribly easy) part, you kept good time. 2/5 stars

The horns, bass and drums are actually very good. The singing was off key in some places, could use work, needs to be more "edgy."

been a while since ive check out our video mike. yes people, we know we arnt expert players. mike, take the criticism for what it is. some of these people are pretty accurate on the sound....and others are being complete douche bags. there are plenty of things that could of been better but for those critics, keep in mind this is low level equipment, especially the speaker for the vocals and the recording device. but hey looking back, still one of the best nights of my senior year.

Could you be any less open to constructive criticism? I mean sure some people are making some immature responses to your video, but you don't have to respond back with some childish insult. The only way you can improve as a musician is if you listen to others criticism (as painful as it can be at first). You know, for all the shit everyone has been giving this video, it really isn't that bad. The only thing really that was slightly wrong was the guitarist and even then he recovered from his mistakes, and for the upstrokes, you can get over it. I have been in the field for on stage audio managing for over 10 years and this would sound hella better if the horns and drums were properly mic'd.
