Doesn't he realise that most hunting rifles are much more powerful weopons than most assault type weopons. Just put the rounds next to eachother and its plain to see that a 30-06round is much more deadly than a .223 or a 7.62 X 39. Just a thought but its obvious to me!

Even the plain lead bullet would kill a man just from the kenetic/internal injuries it would likely produce. But yes your point is well taken. Of course they are designed for different uses. But I'd lay odds that a round that is designed to kill a moose or a bear could ALSO kill a man and probably do it better than a round thats only meant to be a man killer.

Guns have been invented and no matter how hard the anti rights people try they can not uninvent the modern firearm. now that they are out there criminals will find a way to arm themselves. The UK is a great example of a place where hand guns are entierly forbiden however criminals still have them. the gun crime may lower however violent crime is up
