  • what an ugly mug.

  • Joojoo

  • mr rathakrishnan, your product is fucked

  • as a joo owner my self I can definately say they did an excellent job with the hardware, however the os it comes with is crap, I'm in the process of installing another os on it, I think im going to try android first, then xp and if xp works like shit install windows seven, im going to update the ram and ssd to from 1gb and 4gb to 4gb and 32gb.

  • guy looks like a right devious basterd

  • i love it, best 12 inch tablet out there

  • this thing is way too big it looks bigger than a 17 inch laptop :|

  • the guy looks like a money.

  • The fail was that they went too far from what was their goal.

Even tho I don't like it I reckon, $200 would have been made this tablet have a huge market for sure.

They should have dropped the project as soon they see that their claim "Its clear that it is quite possible to build a high performance web tablet in the [$200] price range we anticipated." wasn't fitting anymore.

  • There's gonna be a crap load of ipad clones or wannbees like the Iphone clones before someone get it right. I wouldn't get any device from a small start up. Ipad is good if you have a use for it but it's not gonna replace a netbook. Like I would use it at a device I can surf the webon my bed while watching TV which is not comfortable if I use a netbook.

  • I feel sorry for him...with all the drama he's going thru his little pad is FAIL! before it's started.

  • he looks half retarded with his buckteeth.

  • pfft this ceo cracks me up. JooJoo is gay.

  • It has already failed. They only had 90 preorder sales .... and 15 of those canceled!

Ipad made 500,000 in under two weeks.

  • too bad this thing failed terribly when it comes to sales numbers

  • the guy on the right asks too many questions

  • He is so inspired by everything Apple, really.

  • THIS HAS USB AND FLASH SUPPORT.

who cares if it only has four gigs. you can back shit up with the usb plug.

    FLASH SUPPORT FLASH SUPPORT

i have an iphone that i enjoy. i can live without flash on it. but if you gonna buy a tablet to browse the web whats the fucking point without flash.

I'LL GO JOOJOO ALL DAY MAN.

i'm sure they will both be hacked as soon as they hit the market and all the apps will be free anyways so. i'll go with the one that has the features that matter most. usb and flash

  • I dont know about this Jew tablet and how it would compare with the ipad

  • This guy looks nervous, like he did something wrong, talking with his hands, almost dropping the device

  • the multitouch sucks.... ill still get the ipad

  • It does look that way. I think that they'll fix it though.

  • After seeing this, I was shrugging it off because I thought apple would bring out the big guns and blow this thing away, but after the underwhelming iPad debut, I have grown to appreciate this product more and more....hell, I even like the JooJoo name better than iPad ( why couldn't they have just gone with Mac Tablet or MacTab)

As soon as the price drops, I want to snag one for myself.

  • Give it back to techcrunch....

  • I wish it had something to do when you didn't have a internet connection. Since everything you need a internet connection for then theres nothing you can do if you didn't have a internet connection...

  • Only 4 GB SSD,everything else is cool

  • This is a terrible way to publicise a product!

  • who is the dude in the purple? he is a moron

  • @alial3 He's probably a journalist, making sure he has all the information right. How is he a moron?

  • That device would actually be a great alternative for college students. Instead of wasting a backpack full of text books, you could purchase digital formats of textbooks and view them on that thing. And it could also be used as a notebook too. Something like this could replace practically every need for paper in a classroom. Exams could be done online, and sent right to the teacher's computers. This thing has huge potential.

  • can't make out the words even at full blast.

  • I think this device is compelling but, does the supposed "technical innovation" warrant the exorbitant price?
