i remember playing this game in the arcades and the battle counter was stuck at 99 on balrog stage. you couldn't pick balrog so everyone just fought on this stage over and over for hours and hours at the local pool hall on friday and saturday nights. ahhhh, great fun times as a kid!

I can remember the first time I played this, my mind was blown by the awesomeness of it! I had never seen a game like this before. And, seeing Ken doing that Dragon Punch, Guile doing the Flash Kick, E. Honda doing the Hundred Hand Slap, that was just too awesome! Seems like I spent a bank playing this too, trying to learn all of the moves of all the characters, then how to fight with them. Man, I spent a grip doing that. But, this is the most awesome arcade game I have ever played!

@cybermartyr87 SF2 AI has predictable algorithms, so it looks like there's no resistance, which is the point of this project. I assure you, play this level as a newcomer & it's VERY frustrating - the AI is very cheesy and takes full advantage of move priority and individual frames. This is a Tool-Assisted Speedrun - you save your progress and whenever you screw up, you go back to your last save point, but it still takes a metric ton of practice and timing to get full perfect with no damage.

Okay a few points here, first of iam going to start by saying your a big fat phony.

Number 1 as the man said you blocked one of m bisons specials but u didn't lose energy explain yourself.

number 2 how comes no one did their special moves on you, most of your opponents looked dossel at best possibly at level 1.

Number 3 you were never thrown at close contact and you are one flukey bastard.

Also the barrels you should and could of done small dragon punches but you wussed out.

Chinatown was by far the best for competition. Those chinese mastered that game. I was actually playing one day and some asian kids came down and one of them wanted to play against me cause I was one of the best at that time and we warned him that the joystick on the left side was broken. You actually had to lift the joystick up to play and he beat me continuously. I found out later he was winning all these tournaments that was going on so I didnt feel too bad but still a broken joystick lol??

spanish fighter = Balrog
