i wish i saw reviews before i got this phone -_-...
I've sent it in to be repaired for various things over 7 times in the past 3 months, and when i get it back NOTHING changes.. It's a terrible phone and im im getting new phone the minute my contract is done..
Worst phone ever. Bought it. Touch screen never worked properly. Had to re-calibrate everyday, multiple times a day. Still never worked right. So i smashed the phone, dumped gasoline on it.
NO ONE BUY THIS PHONE. there is nothing at all good about it.
I hate this phone. You can't buy Batteries for it anymore that i know of so after 15 months of using it, it barely lasts half a day, it's dead right now lol.
Can't play music on it WTF, it's the one thing i would have enjoyed on this phone. I would never suggest this phone to anyone knowing what i know now. Even for emergencies phone, it's not reliable. Qwerty is so not responsive. It once shut right off for no reason during chat. Grrrr waste of money and contract. I'm bitter

The lg bliss is not a "smartphone" and does not have a sim card slot. So basically you can only use the provider it currently is running. So if it is Virgin Mobile your only hope is virgin mobile pay as you go . Sorry should of returned the phone its sorta useless unless you like pay as you go. Anyways the phone sells for $40 or less on craigslist so I would not bother.
Part 2: So it is now, January 12th 2010. And Bell just called me today saying that this phone is no longer continued because they were having to many problems with it. So they are sending the Lg Rumour Touch to my house today, it will be here tomorrow. And the reviews ont he phone are wonderful. :) So I am excited. But I recommend that if you want to buy this phone if theres still a few left at the store, then DONT buy it. Look at buying a different one. And make SURE to look at reviews first.

@Kellyrox16 I love it, did you get it with Virgin? The Texting is annoying at first since I was used to the iPod Touch keypad for such a long time but I'm used to it now! :)
I've had one for the last several months, and it's worked just fine for me. However, other people have complained about having problems with it after a couple of months, although I haven't experienced that. I find the touch screen too small to use with fingers, so it's usually easier to use the stylus that comes with it. It's no iPhone of HTC Legend, but it does it's job.

the bid issue i have with this phone is that the processor that is with the phone is very slow. In my opinion i was not very impressed. Other then that's it is a pretty decent phone you just have to put of with some lag.

Sometimes I find that people get a phone and they stand behind it because its there phone and they wont tell it like it is! This phone is VERY difficult to type on unless you use the included stylus. I have a Motorola Brute i680... Nothing to do with this phone but I can text, I can browse, I can CALL, I can take 2mpx pictures with flash, music, blah, blah, blah, PLUS it's almost indestructible.
i've had this phone for about 5 days- just a little picky about the green border, i don't understand why it had to be green.. but it's no biggie. overall, i'd rate it 6.5/10.
CONS: doesn't have a normal 3.5mm headphone jack (comes with a 2.5mm)
it's not too responsive, you do have to apply some pressure. not with your finger but your finger tips/nails (it does come with a stylus but i rarely use it). therefore, texting can be difficult.
the speakers are okay but the music player will only let you play one song rather than playing all songs consecutively.
my big problem is during phone calls.. it is a touch phone so be aware that, during a call, your cheek or ear might brush against the screen and accidently press a button. the lock button works but with one simple touch, the phone is unlocked. during calls, i always get muted from accidently touching the mute button.. so frustrating! it's only frozen on me once and it is kind of slow when switching between screens.
PROS: customizable screens (which isn't that useful but it's cool nonetheless), a drawing app and a writing feature for texting (again, not that useful since i rarely use it, but still cool), very light weight. that's all that i can think of!
it's not that bad of a phone. for me, the pros do not stand out as much as the cons lol. this is my first touch phone, so maybe i haven't gotten the used to it. however, i will be switching to the Samsung Impact since i am not quite satisfied. anyways, hope my 2 cents helped.

and do you do you know how many picture messages it will hold in your like picture messages inbox? cause my lg phone now will only hold 30 and they delete by themselves if it gets full which really pisses me off
and it has the normal inbox outbox but you can hit this button at the bottom that says chat and you can see the whole convo from you and one other person :D ... i hope i was helpful :D
@F3LIXTH3N00B I also have an LG Bliss and I agree that the touch screen isn't very responsive. After using the phone for 6 months, parts of the touch screen wouldn't even register touch any more. I had to switch back to my old flip phone until I can upgrade :-(
@TheSamsungslyde a button must be pressed first and then you press the "unlock" on the screen with that your phone is unlocked, i have never had my phone unlock itself

I personally used this phone, and although it is very sleek and it has a nice design, i'm a big texter so it repeatedly froze and randomly shut off which was beyond irritating. also, the pocket dials were a bitch and i hate this phone. i got it replaced 3 times and i still had the same problems and they were worse. do not buy!

hey if someone can help me, i just got my lg bliss on virgin, and i insert my 4gb micro sd card, it reads it and u can see how much memore it has, but i cannot access music (cuz i dont know where it is) and i've checked the whole phone, and if anyone knows where it is reply please!
wat i did is i already had a 4 gb memory card and it wouldnt work, so i went to phone setting, then memory, then external then i formated the card, after i put all my music back on my micro sd card, then under shortcut i added the music file then there they were, :) glad to help, this should work
this phone is great and all but i just find that when it comes to texting someone, it takes sooo long to wrte a message. im a fast texter so the fact that there is like a 1-second delay for each letter pressed is annoying :S besides that, im satisfied with it :)

and do you do you know how many picture messages it will hold in your like picture messages inbox? cause my lg phone now will only hold 30 and they delete by themselves if it gets full which really pisses me off

and it has the normal inbox outbox but you can hit this button at the bottom that says chat and you can see the whole convo from you and one other person :D ... i hope i was helpful :D

@F3LIXTH3N00B I also have an LG Bliss and I agree that the touch screen isn't very responsive. After using the phone for 6 months, parts of the touch screen wouldn't even register touch any more. I had to switch back to my old flip phone until I can upgrade :-(

@TheSamsungslyde a button must be pressed first and then you press the "unlock" on the screen with that your phone is unlocked, i have never had my phone unlock itself

he makes the texting seem so difficult .. but if i can type fine on an ipod touch is this similar? i want this phone but if it's actually as difficult to text on like it looks like i might reconsider what phone i'm going to get.

@Brelsey Yah I have both and it's basically the same, it's a bit different but only took me about an hour to get used to this. It's very easy to use this product.

I personally used this phone, and although it is very sleek and it has a nice design, i'm a big texter so it repeatedly froze and randomly shut off which was beyond irritating. also, the pocket dials were a bitch and i hate this phone. i got it replaced 3 times and i still had the same problems and they were worse. do not buy!

I've had this phone for 9 months, and it worked like a charm still!! it has the basics that I wanted, and more. It didnt break, and i dropped it quite a lot. No lagging, and stuff. I really enjoyed this phone, loved it to death :) but you can only text 140 chars =(

hey if someone can help me, i just got my lg bliss on virgin, and i insert my 4gb micro sd card, it reads it and u can see how much memore it has, but i cannot access music (cuz i dont know where it is) and i've checked the whole phone, and if anyone knows where it is reply please!

wat i did is i already had a 4 gb memory card and it wouldnt work, so i went to phone setting, then memory, then external then i formated the card, after i put all my music back on my micro sd card, then under shortcut i added the music file then there they were, :) glad to help, this should work

this phone is great and all but i just find that when it comes to texting someone, it takes sooo long to wrte a message. im a fast texter so the fact that there is like a 1-second delay for each letter pressed is annoying :S besides that, im satisfied with it :)
