I also saw them in Halifax and was super impressed. All well arranged music and interesting. The sound was superb - they only had a small speaker setup thinngy but it somehow sounded very good. The only thing that let it down was that the room seemed full of school teachers and social worker types. Thank God this band was on.

Saw them there in Halifax too. Knew they were a bit special as soon as they started singing, personal vote but the best live band i have seen at a small gig. Would love to see them again, and i think the sound engineer that night was doing a great job considering the rooms acoustic qualities!.

Does it bother you when bands you like get well deserved attention because of being in a movie or on a tv show? Because it doesn't really upset me too much and I don't think the bands mind having a few more people be interested in their music.

Not at all goodtimesgunnacome. You're insulting people's intelligence to say they'd only like a song "just because it's on Skins". They use a lot of good songs on Skins and I heard this song and several others that way, but I have well-developed enough musical tastes to decide for myself what I like and don't like out of the music on Skins.

If a song's good, and people like it, good for them - however they found it. To criticise someone just because they found it in Skins is just snobbery.
