if you watched TheButtonMasherz video, riot said that they wanted to expand the selection of viable jungle champions and they did do that, but they have reduced the amount of Successful junglers. the only junglers that were viable were aoe clear champions. I love the jungle now, my sustain is ridiculous. I play Gangplank and go blue -> wolves -> wraiths -> red and proceed to fuck everyones shit up. New jungle doesn't mean you shouldn't gank, just means you should gank successfully. Red buff (and the right champion) still makes that pretty easy..

yea i have to say jungling is starting to become so easy. I recently jungled with shaco and got double buff and lvl 3 in 2minutes and ganked but after u gank and befor buffs respawn its impossible to level. wraiths to wolves to golems gets you about half a level.. whats that bullshit riot.

I was thinking the same thing about malphite and other AOE junglers. I think that wriggles is still very useful for Udyr, but yeah...it may be worth just throwing money into other items now. The whole point will be to sustain, since the camps respawn so often. You don't ever want to go back to the fountain because it is gold/exp loss.

Lanes are gonna be raging even more for you not ganking from the jungle now.

Olafs clearing speed comes from his passive because he gets a large natural attack speed steroid. He will simply be overshadowed by A) champs with better steroids (Master Yi) or B) champs with better AOE damage (Malphite) or C) champs who just clear the jungle incredibly faster (Shyvanna, Udyr) so there is gonna be very little incentive to pick him as your jungler.

Counter Jungle is useless now, you'd normally clear the mobs at the end of the enemies jungle path to avoid mid-jungle confrontation, if you'd do that now the mobs will have respawned by the time they get there, meanwhile you lose xp because you're constantly running around the map and are taking risks at it.

@Edremis Just my opinion being an Udyr player, I think Pheonix is going to be amazing due to the fact that AOE junglers destroy camps. Tiger, I'm not so sure about since I rarely play it. As stonewall said, Udyr is a farmer, he can stay in the jungle all day long clearing camps, then pop out and maul people.
