King Dedede's theme is probably in my top 5 favorite videogame music numbers. :D It sounds ominous, dance-worthy, gets your "final boss" juices flowing, AND it almost tells a story as to what kind of guy he is!

I had forgotten. Both KDL and KA had an exploitable weakness: they always attacked the area Kirby was standing on with the vacuum suction, even if Kirby had already escaped elsewhere. KDL also did the same with the hammer, but KA actually chased you if you moved away from your original spot.

this game is so easy i finished the whole thing without losing a single life. In fact, i did this section with one bar left just to see if I could; all the boss battles and the final boss.

And the batteries in my gameboy were almost dead so the screen was almost invisible.

@MrIrockursocks Most likely because this is the toughest Dedede :P He uses lots of screen space so he corners you pretty easily, his health is insane, and to boot he has the shortest recovery time. Kirby's Adventure Dedede had all these attacks, but he took longer to recover between attacks and also you had lots of screenspace to run from his attacks.

@KojiroArma Yeah, plus Kirby's Adventures Dedede wasn't the final guy, they had to make him look like the final guy, but give enough of a chance that the player wouldn't tire out their fingers before facing Nightmare immediately afterward. So I guess thats why they made him a bit easier then his previous incarnation.

its amazing how many connections it has with KSS, especially since Spring Breeze is a "remake" of this. With the exception of the 4 bosses in spring breeze and enemies, these are all the one I found:

1:24 big boss (Dyna Blade/Wham Bam Rock) music

2:50 boss in revenge of king (Ultra Only)

6:51 exact same ending video as spring breeze except for the bye-bye sign.

Not a single ability is in this game. Unless you count the Mint Leaf, Superspicy Curry and the Microphone (which I think is only in 1 level). Those are just power-ups though so I don't count them as abilities. Basically you can't eat an enemy and get abilities from them...
