The correct answer to the question posed about "Why paul's tomb was lost" of course "because it is extremely difficult to keep track of the precise location of a sarcophagus in a building given 2,000 years of rebuilding, remodeling, fires, sacking armies, etc.". In fact, this tomb's location was actually better-known than many other graves of great antiquity, and the sarcophagus was hidden mainly because of renovations and the debris of a famous 1823 fire that destroyed most of the church.
@LIVERLADD Why is the man fussing so? The quote from the Pope he read says, if you listen carefully, seemed to be Paul. And of course there is no scientifice proof for Paul. Those bones could belong to another man. But clearly a man who died in the 1st or 2nd century. Also if Paul was moved from Rome to England, could it be that Paul was moved to the place the Pope thinks is St. Paul? No of these questions can be answered. The Pope can't be sure or this man here can't be sure it is NOT Paul.

The fact that Christ will appear in glory and majesty at the second coming is an undisputed fact of scripture and scriptural prophesy. That Christ also said many false prophets will come speaking in my name is also scriptural truth. When I said in a previous post that Christ is already walking the earth ( in a hidden form) is also a truth from my own personal experience, which does not negate the fact that the second coming will be glorious and majestic. The two are not mutually exclusive.
If you think about it, if thesecond coming is only a few short years away and if Christ wll appear in glory as a mature human, and since God will not and cannot create Him out of the thin air He must be alreay here.
In the First Coming or Incarnation God came as a child and grew to manhood among men. In the Second Coming God will return as a fully mature human form - GOD, and not some ambiguous form of God the Father coming out of the clouds in the sky. The sky and cloud metaphor is a Biblical metaphor signifying CHRIST coming/ or will come from a higher plane of existence.

Thanks for doing the research on this. I do not believe that the Church at Rome has any problem making up these kind of storys. They have removed one of the 10 comandments, they worship on Sunday not on the Holy Sabbath Day, and they bow down to Idols. They refer to there priests as Father, something that the Bible clearly forbids. The bible says :(come out of her my people).
I appreciate the reminder the we should always be looking for truth and it won't be found in the "world". What a sensational "find" to wrap up the Catholic celebrations!!

I found Vatic means prophet, oracle or seer.
It was a "word of the day" from Merriam Webster.
Not sure how the "an" added alters the meaning.
