Knowbody really understands what happend here. Thats why for my progect im doing pashendale.Im a canadian boy doing my lawson. I was originally going to do the battle of vimy ridge. But when you read about this war you find out how it is so unreconised as a battle. 1500 hundred troops died before the attack. And they bassicly had to walk to the enemy getting shot at. It wasint a fucking stand there and the germans came to them. those troops were brave as hell and walked right into death.

@xganger2 Normally yes, but: At the mid/end of WWI most of them were not professional soldiers (those were mostly dead and/or heavyly wounded) but volounteers with little combat experience, while the Canadian troops were not all that used up, for they arrived later... and the canadians earned a good reputation for being reliable and capable (professional!) soldiers who would always put up on hell of a fight before giving up their ground.

@jahoodunrama Well technically, soldiers and guns are how one wins the tactical aspect of a war, not the strategic. A "nuke" as you put is a strategic weapon because it's powerful enough to offset the tide of wars.(though tactical variations are created for conventional combat) Remember, it's not winning the battle that's important, it's winning the war, you can win all the battles and still lose the war (i.e. the American Revolution (for the British), the Vietnam war)
