Hi, I am from Tanga as well. I also studied at Karimjee Secondary School 1964-1965, passed my Senior Cambridge there. I lived at Raskazone, near the beach. The Headmaster was Mr Hornsby. I am in London now. Have not been back, but would like to go one day. Nice to see old pictures, thanks.

I, born in Dodoma, lived in Tanga in 1965-66 and attended Karimjee Secondar;y School, located on the street with Jamat Khana at one end. I wonder if this school still exists. Left Tanga (my father then worked as salesman at Cooper Motors) for Dar-Es-Salaam and finished O levels at Azania Secondary School. Move to UK as student, finished A levels and got BSc from London University. Since 1974, live in California, USA (am 34 miles from Los Angeles). No regret of leaving Tanzania for good.

i was there till 85, then went back to uk. i had great friends, coco his brother troy,amar amiji. rivinder singh, adam, reena gohil,roaul sporidi there are loads more good friends but i cant remember how to speell there names. they where all good people and made me so welcome

I also remember my teachers, Mr Tur, Mrs. Ngoda (Maganga), Rebelo, Menye, Dadi, Nassor, Zakeer, Mamujee, Ms Kalcuta, Mrs Daniel, Mr Gwai and so many others.

I also remember Mzee Iddi messenger wa Head master Mr KR Choudhry.

I will never forget Popatlat.

I remember My class mate, Mohamed Ali, Seif Mdimu, Idrissah Daruwesh; Saida Yahya; Asia Yahya, Muhsin, Jayesh, Nilesh, Nisha, Mhando Bendera, Joyce Hyera, Nisreen, mohamed Kubat. Bakari Bakari and many more.

I visited Tanga , Tanzania after 27 years with my family from canada. Visited Popatlal and Darajani schools.

Brought back lots of memories. It was pleasant meeting with with Mr Chaudry again after so long. Met friend old Tanga boys and girls.

Hi fellas, i graduate there in 1985, went to Tosamaganga High, them Majeshi and more majeshi to Canadian Force, Never been back to Tanzania since, Happily married with four kids here in Toronto,i was prefect and a monitor, hey is Mr. Choaudry still alive? he was a headmaster them. they used to call me Shaolin. I lived very close to Usagara sec. school.rode my bike to Popatlal, beautiful beaches Tanga
