  • wow thanks that a trip that you mention that because i just bought some redmill ground flax and mix two table spoon with my oats, plus im taking like 4 to 5 capsuls of omega three fish oil pharmaceutical grade

  • my question i dont eat cereal accept quaker oats ,and i have about 2 to four pieces of whole wheat toast ,i need these cause i workout and i need carbs for energy so can i do this and still lower triglicerides

  • @reformedbro1 How about adding some ground flax to your Quaker oats? A table spoon or two mixed in will not only provide some Omega 3 and 6, but will also add in some fiber too. That will help with your TG's and also your total cholesterol. If you look on the Atkin's website (yes, the low carb people) there is a "muffin in a minute" recipe that is made with flax. It's a good little snack that takes no time to make.
