Despite their later deaths how is it that they attained burial sites next to the Prophet (saaws) and not Hadhrath Fatima (as)? Did she request that she be buried away from her father? Primarly, it is important to show tolerance, have good conduct, show respect towards each other and try to guide the person person on a basis of love and politeness, rather than "blaming them" and calling them kafir.

I had Iraqi friends that never imagined a civil war would break out there. there was such harmony that many Shia and Sunni were intermarried and worked and lived together. after the war Radical fighters came in from the outside Sunni and Shia leaders scrambled for power caused the war.
Some people are trying to bring the issue of Jafari Mazhab so that people think the difference between Sunni and Shia is only in 'Fiqh' (Jurisprudence) issues, but this is not the case. Let everyone know that Shia and Sunni do not share the same five pillars. Shia believe in 'Imamate' and they consider it the most important of their beliefs, rejecting it means going out of Islam.
P.S. It should be noted that this 'Imamate' is not in the Quran.
Shi'as believe that anyone who believes in Tawheed, Nabuwwah and Qayamah are Muslim. If they do not accept Adalat or Imammah, they are still Muslims and should be treated as such.

I disagree with the video. Sunnis (85%) and Shiites(10%) don't agree with the core fundamentals of Islam. The shia sect is totaly a different way of Islam. They believe in fundamentals which can not be found in the Quran and Sunnis reject them. This makes them a totaly differnent way from main stream islam. From my understanding, It seems to me sunnis have not taken sides in the between Ali's family and the Companions because they believe that the event was a curse (fitna). The Prophet (pbuh) raised imam Ali (as) on his shoulders and called out: To whoever I am leader, Ali (as) is now their leader thus giving him the status, not Abu bakr, Omar or Authman.

He says right know, Aga Khan (Ismaili) is the imam because he is the direct decendent. But he also said that not all the Shia community believe that Aga Khan is the Imam. Twelver Shias believe someone else is the current imam. There is more too. This is the confusion I meant.

I would love to agree with what both these Imams are saying but, how could we trust them when they, the Shias, sear and curse at close companions of the Prophet, namely Abu Bakr, Omar, Othman and our Mother Aisha, the wife of the Prophet. If Shais stop or say that it is forbidden to curse Prophet's companions and his wife, then maybe we could trust shias. However, every Shia curses at the companions and our mother Aisha, the wife of the Prophet. May God guide all Shias as well as Sufis...amen.

Allah gives the power of the unseen to some of his creation. Who was this man(27:38 - 27:40)? He was not a prophet yet he somehow had the ability to take the throne of Sheba in less than a twinkle of an eye? And it says in the Quran "he had part of the knowledge of the book". What does this mean? And why is it not possible that Prophets had the complete knowledge of the book?
Allah only has power of the unseen, but grants this knowledge to few.

Although Allah at times in the Quran says no intercession will be available, He is referring to the mushrikeen and their idols (their idols cannot intercede). These ayahs are for particular people:
Quran 20:109 - "On that Day, no intercession shall avail, except the one from whom Allah, the Most Gracious has given permission and whose word is acceptable to Him."
19:87: "None shall have the power of intercession except one who has received permission or a promise from Allah, the Most Gracious."

The key difference between calling upon the Prophet and Ahlul Bayt (peace and blessings be upon them) and the Mushrikeen you are mentioning is that those people used to believe the idols they were calling upon, were Gods themselves. They worshiped them despite their belief in one Supreme God. They also believed their idols had independent powers from Allah (swt).
We believe the Prophet and Ahlul-Bayt are given all of their power from Allah and through them, we ask Allah.

Good women are for good men, and good men for good women; such are innocent of that which people say: For them is pardon and a bountiful provision.” (Quran, 24:26) This is the absolute verdict on the character of Aisha , and stands as a refutation against all the slander made against her.

Ahlebait are not normal or else Allah wouldnt have promised to keep them clean of errors in Quran (infallable), something he never promised about anyone else. Muhammad would neither have declared Fatima the leader of all women, nor his grandsons the leaders of all men in heaven. These are in Sihah. He wouldnt have choosen Ali as Imam at Ghadeer, nor he would have included the aal in Darood Ibrahimi. Muhammad - PUBT - is also average right?

Umm Farwa’s father name was Qasim bin Muhammad bin Abu Bakr, and his mother’s name was Asma bint Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr. Primarly, it is important to show tolerance, have good conduct, show respect towards each other and try to guide the person person on a basis of love and politeness, rather than "blaming them" and calling them kafir.

Some people are trying to bring the issue of Jafari Mazhab so that people think the difference between Sunni and Shia is only in 'Fiqh' (Jurisprudence) issues, but this is not the case. Let everyone know that Shia and Sunni do not share the same five pillars. Shia believe in 'Imamate' and they consider it the most important of their beliefs, rejecting it means going out of Islam.
P.S. It should be noted that this 'Imamate' is not in the Quran.

Shi'as believe that anyone who believes in Tawheed, Nabuwwah and Qayamah are Muslim. If they do not accept Adalat or Imammah, they are still Muslims and should be treated as such.
On the doctrinal level, the major difference between Shi'as and Sunnis is between the issue of Wilayah or Imammah. The more nuanced and practical differences occur because of this difference (ex. Shi'as accept certain hadiths and Sunnis accept certain hadiths).

However, some great shia scholars like Al-Khoe say Sunnis are Muslim in this world but Kafir in the Akhira. How does it makes sense?

I disagree with the video. Sunnis (85%) and Shiites(10%) don't agree with the core fundamentals of Islam. The shia sect is totaly a different way of Islam. They believe in fundamentals which can not be found in the Quran and Sunnis reject them. This makes them a totaly differnent way from main stream islam. According to shia, not accepting those fundamentals takes you out of Islam.

For centuries, Shi'as and Sunnis have lived together in harmony. When I went to Iraq in 2000, Shi'as and Sunnis intermarried. I'm a Shi'a but have Sunni family/roots.
However, foreign powers have and continue to cause internal division. They promote sectarianism and division in order to dominate Muslim lands. See: Anti-Shi'a Wahabis who are the creation of the UK. If you want clarification, let me know.

Those who believe Ali should have been the Prophet's successor are now known as Shi'a Muslims. It was only later that these terms came into use. Sunni means 'one who follows the Sunnah' Shi'a is a contraction of the phrase 'Shiat Ali', meaning 'partisans of Ali'. In the end, Prophet Muhammad gave Ali (as) the status and Sunnis fail to acknowledge this.

We should respect all the shahabi of prophets ( ali, omar, abu barkaer etc) but we must not equate them like prophet Mohammed. And no muslim should level them as sects. From my understanding, It seems to me sunnis have not taken sides in the between Ali's family and the Companions because they believe that the event was a curse (fitna). And this fitna was possible because sunnis believe every human except the Prophets are error prone Shias believe every decedent of the prophet is error proof.

@nofreedom4racists how are Shias confused? There are 12 Imams, the Ahlulbayt consisting of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), Imam Ali (as), Lady Fatima (as), Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain (as). The Prophet (pbuh) raised imam Ali (as) on his shoulders and called out: To whoever I am leader, Ali (as) is now their leader thus giving him the status, not Abu bakr, Omar or Authman.

He says right know, Aga Khan (Ismaili) is the imam because he is the direct decendent. But he also said that not all the Shia community believe that Aga Khan is the Imam. Twelver Shias believe someone else is the current imam. There is more too. This is the confusion I meant.

I don't think you guys are getting the point! Allah says in the Qur'an that we should call ourselves 'Muslims' because 'Muslims' is the best title we can give ourself as it was said BY ALLAH. It doesn't matter if you're a Sunni and he's a Shia etc.

I would love to agree with what both these Imams are saying but, how could we trust them when they, the Shias, sear and curse at close companions of the Prophet, namely Abu Bakr, Omar, Othman and our Mother Aisha, the wife of the Prophet. If Shais stop or say that it is forbidden to curse Prophet's companions and his wife, then maybe we could trust shias. However, every Shia curses at the companions and our mother Aisha, the wife of the Prophet. May God guide all Shias as well as Sufis...amen.

As a last point, the following ayahs (3:159) (4:64) (60:12) refer to the fact that the Prophet has the ability to ask forgiveness on behalf of people.
I definitely recommend you read these ayahs, especially 4:64.

And We granted not to any human being immortality before you (O Muhammad); then if you die, would they live forever?”[al-Anbiya’ 21:34]
“Verily, you (O Muhammad) will die, and verily, they (too) will die”[al-Zumar 39:30]
“but you cannot make hear those who are in graves”[Faatir 35:22]

@Longlivepalestine please do not quote the quran out of context. quran surah 3:169 Think not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah as dead. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision.
those that died in the way of allaah are not alive in this world but alive with their lord and therefore they are not dead because their soul was transferred to an even better place.

And who are you to interpret that verse in the way you want? As far as I'm concerned that verse is just like Longlive said. Don't call the shaheed dead and don't think of them as dead. Lets think about this issue in this way: is it shirk that Allah gave Iblis the power to live that long and to have knowledge of the unseen? And is it shirk to believe the Prophet would be given more than Iblis? Allah (swt)'s Qudrah is not threatened by the position of the Prophet.

I am just making you aware of the literal meaning of the verse which says that the dead are alive with their LORD ALLAAH and since Allaah is not in this world but above his throne over the 7 heavens then we can conclude that the dead are not alive in this world. Allaah is raised above his throne as said in surah 7:54. IT IS KUFFER TO SAY THAT IBLIS OR THE PROPHET HAVE COMPLETE KNOWLEDGE OF UNSEEN. THIS IS ONLY FOR ALLAAH. DONT MAKE UP THINGS.

Allah gives the power of the unseen to some of his creation. Who was this man(27:38 - 27:40)? He was not a prophet yet he somehow had the ability to take the throne of Sheba in less than a twinkle of an eye? And it says in the Quran "he had part of the knowledge of the book". What does this mean? And why is it not possible that Prophets had the complete knowledge of the book?
Allah only has power of the unseen, but grants this knowledge to few.

Allaah revealed a very small portion of his knowledge to the prophets but that does not mean that the prophets have knowledge of the unseen.

As a follow-up to the question regarding the shaheed...I'm curious to know the Ahle-Sunnah perspective of tawassul.
Both of us agree on tawassul and calling upon the Prophet right? (You've read the Sunni hadith of the blind man who was told by the Prophet to say ""Oh Allah, I ask You and turn to You through my Prophet Muhammad, the Prophet of mercy; O Muhammad (Ya Muhammad), I seek your intercession with my Lord for the return of my eyesight"? Correct?

Although Allah at times in the Quran says no intercession will be available, He is referring to the mushrikeen and their idols (their idols cannot intercede). These ayahs are for particular people:
Quran 20:109 - "On that Day, no intercession shall avail, except the one from whom Allah, the Most Gracious has given permission and whose word is acceptable to Him."
19:87: "None shall have the power of intercession except one who has received permission or a promise from Allah, the Most Gracious."

How is it possible for Him to have a face? Allah is not limited to a physical form
Secondly, the Quran also says that those people who are blind in this world are blind in the hereafter (17:72). Does that mean those people who cannot see will never be able to see even in the akhira? Would it make sense to take this verse literally?
The Quran uses metaphors...it is the beauty of the Quranic language.

@Longlivepalestine can allaah see? humans can also see. are we comparing allaah to humans, no because allaahs seeing is different from his creation. secondly, we take the quran literal until we have evidence to prove otherwise. surah 17:72 (blind) means, blind to the signs and proofs of Allah and this is also taken literal because he cannot see with his eyes the signs of allaah and therefore he is a mushrik.

Thank you for that verse (28:88)...but no one calls upon any other god (illah) but Allah. That is why all Muslims must say "La illaha illala".
When we call upon the Prophet and his family (peace and blessings be upon them), it is with the complete understanding that they receive their station from Allah (swt). Allah loves them and has made them the spiritual preservation of our holy religion.

The key difference between calling upon the Prophet and Ahlul Bayt (peace and blessings be upon them) and the Mushrikeen you are mentioning is that those people used to believe the idols they were calling upon, were Gods themselves. They worshiped them despite their belief in one Supreme God. They also believed their idols had independent powers from Allah (swt).
We believe the Prophet and Ahlul-Bayt are given all of their power from Allah and through them, we ask Allah.

@Longlivepalestine totally wrong, the mushrikeen believed in ALLAAH as only god and didnt call manat and uzzah as god but as intercessor. this is clearly described in the quran. quran says: They serve, besides Allah, things that hurt them not nor profit them, and they say: “These are our intercessors with Allah.” (Surah Yunus, verse 18).

Two things:
1) These people believed that their idols had independent power from Allah (au'dhubillah).
2) They believed that by serving these Gods certain benefits will come about them.
Compare that with the Islamic perspective:
1) No one has power except from Allah's will.
2) By doing tawassul and calling upon the names of those whom Allah loves, we seek nearness to Him.
You really can't compare the two.

Yes, they did believe in Allah. The major problem is that they believed these idols have independent power from Allah (in addition to the obvious problem that these idols have not be given permission to intercede).

I am truly disgusted by the language that the 'fellow' brothers/sisters are using here against each other. Shia/Sunni.. They are both muslim. No one has the right to judge one another except Allah. You can't give fatwas against each other. Shias are allowed to pray pilgrimage hajj in mecca, and only muslims are allowed. Both are the followers of Muhammad pbuh.
