Channels that are commercial based like Machinima's, IGNentertainment, or VEVO's should be excluded from the top 100 and have their own section on the youtube alone. I don't think they should be considered the /real/ youtube channels, like Livelavalive or Vlogbrothers. Those VEVO's are ruining opportunity for real youtubers that start from scratch and work alone to get to the top.

The list would be so much better if it was only original Youtube content. Get those shitty Vevo and companies (Machninima gets a pass since they have contracts with many great Youtube channels.) and get in some people that are still Youtube content creators. And Youtube really needs to do something about the sub count. Almost 800,000 subs for 100th is really going to make it almost impossible for channels made in 2010 onward to get there.

In 2012, Shay needs to host Equals 3 (RWJ) to get back up the Top 100.

Being Equals 3 host= massive subs! Just ask KassemG. He hosted 2 episodes in June and got a huge spike in subs around the time he hosted.
