It's not a lie. At 0:48 you can see that there IS a knife lodged to his back. He could have easily pulled it out from there while Reuental was searching for a knife on one of the dead soldiers' back.

I think he picked the knife from the corpse of the other Rosen Ritter, just like Reuentahl.

Hmmm. We do see Reuental grab a knife from one of the fallen Rosenritters, so it's quite plausible Schenkopp did the same in that amount of time.
