Hi Fran, I really enjoyed your video, love the song, and the sweet tone from that guitar. I'm just getting into Slack key. Any chance you can point me to tablature for that song? Once again, awesome job. Makes me want to drop what I'm doing and book a flight to the islands...
@gacochrane Ordinarily I don't have tab for my pieces, but I did do a very very simplified version of this one. In fact, I also did a split screen video and posted here on my channel. Check for the newer version of "E Nihi Ka Hele" and you'll find the link for the tab in the description of that video.
@climbasky Thanks so much for your comment. Have you tried playing slack key? It really is the easiest style of guitar I've ever tried to play, and there are many beautiful Hawaiian songs that fit the style well.
A wonderful tribute to Lance! Your McCollum GA guitar sounds awesome.....incredible tone and balance. You can definitely hear Lance ringing through that guitar! I own a McCollum baritone Lance finished for me last year. It was truly sad to learn of his passing; he will be greatly missed! Thank you again for honoring Lance with this video tribute! -Derek
I don't think I know who Lance is, but I agree with Uncle Duke and everyone else, and I think saying he was a talented luthier is an understatement because that guitar sounds awesome.
Fine job on the video, audio and playing. Five stars and a fond farewell to Lance McCollum. Every time his instruments are played, he lives once more.

Beautiful and apt. tribute Fran...thanks for posting. I'm so sad Lance has gone, but so grateful of the legacy he left us...the guitars in our hands.
