if you compare light on the arrival of plane 2 and the flowershop.. you can see the first where allready at the flowershop before the 2nd plane landed
they don't give TK and Rachel much airtime because its obvious their plane was much later (no time shown, no direct sunlight so i quess at least end of the afternoon begin evening) that means as long as they are not inside the sky will reveal they are too far behind to be part of the actual racing of this leg
