I am glad to hear there are some positive changes at APU. I am, however, very concerned about defining gay behavior to include telling people you are in a relationship. That pretty well shuts down discussion about sexuality.

The stereotype is that gay people do not have long-term, stable relationships. If people are free to discuss the fact that they are in a relationship, it is much easier to discuss that myth. For example, a person could say, "I've been with my same-sex partner for twenty years."
