Im an aussie and this film rings so true. There are still so many areas in Australia that benig gay as a teenager is still so hard and its still no accepted. But this film was cute and an accurate reflection on what can happen to younger guys in Australia.

Really short, and not much to it. The ending certainly leaves a lot up in the air. Sadly, the way a lot of young gay relationships end, both in movies and real life, aren't happy. Here's hoping they decide to meet up and talk about it.

The meaning of the orange at the end is beautiful.. First he hates oranges but after the kiss, which tasted like oranges, he starts to eat them. To remind him of his taste.. Stunning :)

@ldcreateart11 to me it looks the opposite - like the 'gregarious' one stays with his cool crowd at school and is pressured into being straight (witness how he brags about how many girlfriends he's (not) had), while the 'shy' one becomes more willing to explore his sexuality. Sad story because of the way it ends with the older boy not willing to acknowledge him at school. This could be a better and more satisfying film if it were longer with some character development and a happier or less obvious ending. Surprisingly well acted. Notice how the younger boy walks like an old man, stooped over just enough to express his depression, his sense of hopelessness and isolation. Somewhat misogynous in its portrayal of the girl kissing on the bench and the older boy's sister.

I love the film, but I have a few comments about the sub... it's rubbish! Only about half of the dialogues are translated correctly, the rest is something that could sort of fit with the pictures, but that is just completely different from the actual dialogues.
