Rain has got in my phone and now the delete button dont work at all and the buttons either side of the scroll dont work properly, i have to hold them in for agesto get them to work, i dont know if it has effected the battery but my phone took 2 hours to turn on this morning... i dunno what to do. Any help???
I searched EBay for only a keypad membrane. Then like the above video, I dismanteled the phone and replaced it. It has a self stick backing. At the same time, I also replaced the screen. They have an electrical connector on them, so be careful. Good luck.
@ThePurpleDrumStick : How long did it take for your 8520 to work. My blackberry got a little wet in my pocket, then the screen won't not come on for a couple of hours and now that the screen comes on spot free but the buttons or the trackpad don't work anymore.
Can you repair a soft key problem? My "A" key has lost its "click" and it too responsive. It is not the rubber keypad but the pad like you are repairing in the above video. Thanks-jimgerlv@cox.net
@VOICESinONE I did some research and found that you must replace the KEYBOARD PCB MEMBRANE which can be found on Ebay. Youtube has videos on how to do this :) I just ordered one from China. Good luck!

everything works,
only there are spots on the screen,
like theres water under the screen.
