so im thiking about getting a schecter and i play rhythm so im thinking about the tempest and i am a A7X fan so anything you can tell me about the guitar couldnt find one to mess with at my local guitar center

@socalrep091 if you're an a7x fan you really can't go wrong with most of the schecters. And you can make most guitars go one way or the other - ex: i play my les paul as a rhythm guitar but most i know use it as a lead. I'd get a Tempest for rhythm, two humbuckers, coil taps, mahogany body and i'm pretty sure its a neck through so sustain, mids, all the good stuff you want playing rock or metal rhythm - metalcore not so much but still. just go play some and that'll tell you what you want man

how do you get it to do the ..."chugging" sound at :57 ish. sorry but "chugging" is the only way i can explain what im trying to say :p

is there a certain way to strum err pick? im somewhat of a "noob" when it comes to playing a guitar.

It's a Palm Mute, you have to "mute" the strings you're playing with the "palm" of your right hand while you're picking ;-)

Start very slow and than grow up your speed using a metronome.. In few days you will be able to play even the solo!!

you need to practice your bends... they sound robotik.. no feeling... you need to practice your syncronisation with the music... you wasn't in same time with the music... im giving you my opinion.. do what you want with it... take it or say im a cunt but it wont change that your solo need lot of practice... sure you got the note but there's no feeling.. practice your bends

Oh that's not so difficult!! The secret is to start really slow, and then speed up step to step!! Search here in youtube, there's a video where A7X explayn really good every single note of the song, try to learn by it!!
