  • Ahhh im in that PowerBroke section of YouTube again.

  • You pay all that money for an Exursion but make a $20 pipe?

  • tip sticks out a bit far dont ya think

  • those 7.3s are great engines

  • That flex pipe lasted maybe 6 months I bet.

  • Holy nigger rigged! Oh how am I kidding I did the same thing to my bronco lol

  • Is this street legal?, because i want to do this

  • Diesel Power!

  • @acavideo I agree with emission control systems in the cities that you have stated....air quality is a serious issue in those areas, but why penalize the entire country with extremely restrictive emissions equipment, and HORRENDOUS fuel economy, and reduced reliability (EGR systems)? I don't know about you, but I thought the idea was to get off of foreign oil supplies.....and cutting fuel economy by 50% to have clean air, for places that don't have air quality issues is wrong.

  • @12VCTD where have you read that emission control systems cut fuel efficiency by 50%?

  • @mrcoogs86 I dont read it anywhere. I experienced it on our work trucks. A 2011 dodge cummins 6 speed factory stock MPG=12 avg. After all emissions deleted and economy tune=21 avg.....with an extra 50 hp and 120 ft. lbs

  • Thumbs Up if you thought the camera would get blown over, then you realized its an Excursion.

  • thats not a streight pipe u still have your stock headers and cats and resanator. u just deleted the muffler.

  • Screw global warming! I would rather die listening to a straight piped diesel excursion then live looking at a prius.

  • This global warming talk is painful for a person who works in the Science industry.

  • love the sound.

  • the camera is waaaayy too close, just a little tip for future videos. You'll get a better sound if you back it up a little and put it just a little off to the side. otherwise the exhaust creates wind noise.

  • co2 doesnt cause the global warming, it´s fact - thats just another way to make you pay for "greener" technologies

  • Is that pieces of exhaust valve coming out the pipe? I heard low backpressure burns exhaust valves!

  • @666smokeskull There will be no issues with backpressure on a turbocharged vehicle.

  • @666smokeskull Only no manifold burns up exhaust valves. A pipe will prevent cold air from reaching the valves and therefore its alright to run straight pipes.

  • Sounds good but why is the tip sticking so far out! Planning on taking bicyclists and joggers?

  • hey man. u still got that thing? i remember watchin ur vids forever ago

  • 46 people own durashits

  • Diesel's r just plain out badass they r tuff as shit, kewl thing is friend of mine has the fastest street legal diesel in the country. when i get a diesel ill get him to work on my stuff.

  • ummmm i will never get a deisel they sound like shit and they're also loved by hick ass hillbillies

  • @deamnr111 LMAO obviously your gas burner is leaving you wanting more sense your looking at a diesel video!

  • @deamnr111 then get a honda civic and get made fun of by hillbillies=]

  • Fuck a tree huger

  • Everybody watch out when he goes down the street! He might kneecap you with the tip sticking out that far...

  • @overkill1395 buh thats the best part, and rolling coal into someones open window^^

  • @overkill1395

    That's what she said.

  • that tip is ugly

  • Emissions are only important in hippie states like California!

  • @engellance yeah screw emissions=D

  • @engellance mufflers have nothing to do with emissions....

  • @engellance Too bad mufflers have absolutely nothing to do with emissions.

  • @engellance I wouldn't doubt if I got arrested for using my 30 year old lawnmower here! I hate California

  • What about emissions?

  • @Amputecht1

    Who cares, bloody hippie?!

  • @1ooKiloHantelbank Shut the fuck up hoobastank motherfucker. Removing placing a straight pipe will increase emissions. Forget the environment you asswipe, emissions are the way cars are and will be taxed so, you would end up paying twice the amout you would if you left the exhaust alone. It does sound good, yes, but at what price, literally. Its not only about being respectful to the environment, its about being bloody intelligent, or a dumb fuck like you.

  • @Amputecht1 Hey dipshit.......the muffler on a 7.3 PSD has ZERO impact on emissions.

  • i was tryin to do the same thing on our 350 but after calling 10 places and finding out they didnt carry the 3.5" pipe, i went to our local advanced wher my friend works and he sold us an mbrp 4" turbo back. i like the sound of no muffler tho and may consider ordering a 4" straight pipe to delete the muffler. my neighbors hate us enough anyway, so the louder the better! love the excursion man

  • duramax sounds better...buh ill give it to cummings

  • @RastaBear99 no cummins here. ford diesels are international man.

  • IM TO PISSED TO GIVE A SHIT,OH FUCK!!!!

  • sounds nice... but its not a Cummins =/

  • @destructiveone66 probably because fords dont have cummins. thats all dodge

  • thats a good way to have me slash your tires every week.

  • You can do this to any car -

  • that sounds f-in great man. . .

  • illegal in california

  • @rextar23 Why?

  • ( i may b wrong) but my dad had something similar to that done on his 99 f-250 and the turbo had no back pressure so he lost like 110 horse and it wouldnt even kick in. so he took it to a diesel shop and had it dynoed and that was the problem. he had a similar to the stock exhaust put back on and it got it all back and then some. just fyi so make sure you know what ur doing.

  • boring

  • Nice Work Dude

  • sounds good

  • THIS IS AWESOME

  • its sad that you need a turbo just to put enough air into the engine thats why chevys are better second my car sounds more beast than that and third duh it gets better gas the air flow is not constricted its like you breathing through a straw and with out one ones easier

  • @rougepenmen sorry but are you a fucking moron? all diesels now days have turbos. ford chevy and dodge. it makes any engine(gas or diesel) far more efficient, and you get more power. taking a muffler off of any turbo'd engine will greatly improve fuel economy and power. it gets rid of unwanted backpressure and lowers egts. all win win

  • The idi's sound better than the powerstrokes and they the same displacement..

  • Another retard that thinks they need to put the camera right next to the exhaust in order for us to hear it. News flash, now we can distinguish the difference between the sound of the exhaust and the distortion of the microphone on your shitty camera. Thank you for wasting everyones time.

  • RICE

  • when it started is sounded like a lorry

  • Hate to brake the news to ya but i think it shoulds shit! sounds like someone farting

  • gotta love the international motors

  • This diesel baby sounds really heavy duty, the turbo whistle makes me think about Class 8 Trucks.

  • In India the ads are diesel cars!

  • i have those exact same tires on my suburban

  • @gingerman226 so do i, on my 99 Suburban 4x4, great tires but i want to try the M/S All Terrains next or BFG All Terrains

  • inside the tip, what are all of those tiny holes?

  • @skinnbone260

I believe those are baffles to muffle the sound a bit. That's my guess anyway. It looks like its supposed to work similar to the baffles and holes in a regular muffler.

  • One of the better diesel sounds ive heard, however you just cant compare it to a gas sound :p I like the turbo whistle though :p

  • stupid 'prii' commerical --- i want to shoot myself each time i hear it!!!!!!

  • @japierce15 me to

  • is it legal?

  • sounds good, is this stock?

  • why is there a hybrid commercial before i watch a diesel truck

  • Fuck off you stupid mormons

  • is this truck good as a work horse? how about fuel economy? im looking for a truck and i need something spacious on the inside,to load musical equipment(instruments, amps, the works)... any insight could be appreciated...

  • yea....it wastes more gas quicker than a 4 cylander so in theory it pollutes "more", but its still fucking awesome

  • here's a realy fast and easy way to make your.............

  • I find it funny how it is a prius commercial on a video of a big soot blowing diesel excursion haha

  • Sounds like chubacca taking a shit..

  • @Shreddster211 lmao that made me laugh for so long lol

  • @Shreddster211 thank you for making me lol

  • @Shreddster211 AHH FUCK YOU YOU'RE GROUNDED.

  • @Shreddster211 tourettes guy

  • @Shreddster211 sounds more like chubacca and darth vador fucking

  • @Shreddster211 Thumbs up just because yer funny.

  • people that hate on diesels for envirment purposes are retards. disles are twice as nice as gas.

  • @mustang4sho who cares, just give us freedom

  • @mustang4sho soot falls to the ground..it doesnt stay in the air and polute nearly as much as a gas engine

  • @mustang4sho True. But if it comes out around 500% more then the usual gas output, then I think it's an exception. This one's fine.

  • lol i dont even want to know how they got to arguing about a war lolol

  • nice now just trade it in for the truck!

  • Sounds bad ass

  • Just nice scania v8 sound.... i love it

  • i love 7.3! the turbo sounds so badass!!

  • Sorry to highjack your post Sir. nebfsu here is the corrected information...He first toyed with steam, his research into fuel efficiency leading him to build a steam engine using ammonia vapour. During tests, this machine exploded with almost fatal consequences and resulted in many months in the hospital and a great deal of ill health and eyesight problems. Still doesnt have anything with ROLLIN COAL. I guess we could call it WASTING DIESEL since that is what the black smoke is.

  • yeah the black is just sut..not nearly as much CO2 as in a standard engine. diesel burns mor efficient

  • Petrol>Diesel

    End of

  • @Bubbacavcrazy Idiot. What if someone pours the volatile fuel all over you and gives you a lit match? What will you do, huh?

  • @an65001 i was meerly stating that imo petrol is better than diesel. Although if someone did cover me in fuel i wouldnt take that match in the first place

  • Too loud for a neighborhood; it screams... "LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!". I'M LOUD AND BIG!

  • holy shit.. my next car is a ford

  • @Xlay16 thats a truck not a car you da

  • @N4ANE Only stupid as fuck americans sais truck. we say like everyone says, CAR. truck is something much bigger. Same to the word gas.. why would you say to petrol, gas ? Only stupid as fuck americans can invent this stupid words.

  • @Xlay16 Ok this is what makes a car you can only have 4 people in the car you have a little POS motor and no ground clearance what makes a truck being able to haul more than about 6000 pounds it has a big ass motor (7.3 or of equivalent in a different brand) and able to put a person in every seat and go a long distance before you need to full up

  • @Xlay16 That is not a car, it's an SUV. It's pretty much an F-250 which is a truck

  • @mohholt06 of course its not a car, its a suv or jeep. But defenetly not a truck, its not 4 metters tall -_-

  • @Xlay16 For something to be a truck it doesn't need to be 4 meters tall.

  • @mohholt06 Ok SUV is better

  • Video was added 2 years ago. How's that sweet flex hose holding up?

  • so does this still got the cat? just no muffler?

  • I like the way he held up the straight pipe.... 100% redneck approved

  • yeah... it also works for literally any v8

  • man that tire is fuckin SHINE!!

  • 0:01

  • Лада калина также пердит, когда глушитель проржавеет )))

  • @zloyviper вернуться в Россию разве это Россия видео

  • I never understand why ppl don't just use an electronic cutout unless they live in the boondocks? I have 2 Mufflers on one single 3" pipe from the turbo back, but have a cutout so I canscare the shit out of ppl by touching a switch.

  • @tienshenhan86 well technically youre illegal either way you go.. it might be different state to state.. but personally.. i get better gas millage with no muffler.. so whats the point? 20$ in pipe, or 1-200 in a cut out system? plus the better gas millage it just doesnt seem reasonable to do the cut outs.. now... once they make a muffler with stock sound and gets the gas millage of a strait... i might do the cutouts for sound.... haha

  • @Bluesypunkrocker1 I see, what I mean is cops would pull him over in a city, so if you want the better gas and be able to go quiet driving past or next to a cop, you just close the cutout. However if you don't have to worry about sound nazi's, then hell yeah! payce.

  • @tienshenhan86 but come inspection time, most people will fail the cut outs

  • I watched this and went and played "just the tip" with my chick..

  • Ohh, you stupid man. Put the exhaust back on.

  • @needleonthevinyl: with the tip sticking out so damn far you'll never have to worry about any Black Soot on your paint, On the other hand You can always use it to TRIP Passerby's in the Parking Lot....,STUPID!

By the way ever heard of washing your vehicle regularly, it's a Novelty to some, but it just may solve your SOOT Problem on that Paint???

  • The described modification will work on any engine exhaust. The purpose of a muffler is to reduce exhaust noise, as the driver mentioned in another video regarding his neighbours. The 7.3L Power Stroke is the International T-444 engine. There is a very small amount of smoke emitted, but nothing to get excited about. Going big has a different meaning when your fuel costs $6+ a gallon. Diesels are prone to exhaust trails when there is more fuel than heat and air to burn cleanly. Novel idea.

  • is this something that would be good to do to a 6.0

  • turn the fuel up on it and u get more power and u get to smoke people out. its fun but dont over do the fuel thing or u will melt your pistons

  • for the recors, this work on any engine that isnt a pussy little 4 cylinder....it works just as good (better) on my 5.4 f150 gasser

  • Why 7.3 engines on a car??? Some of you americans, are the kings of stupidity!!!! 7.3???? A major polluting engine in a personal car???? ....freaking assholes

  • @MarioLeiteee it's a truck, and theyre intended for towing thats why. But im in agreement with you. We have oversized overly heavy cars in america and it sucks. I drive a miata and IMO thats pretty heavy (2100lbs-950kg) I would kill for a Fiat Panda 4x4. Its a small AWD SUV and it weighs less than my miata.

  • @MarioLeiteee wow jackass its a 3/4 ton its meant to haul alot of stuff weither it be people or trailers and dont call america dumb you f#$%&! tree hugger

  • okay fabio and where the fu*k are u from? over here in america were not pussies we go big or go home.. big diesel trucks.. screaming fords n chevys come get some!!

  • Comment removed

  • @MarioLeiteee

Just because the exhaust fumes are visible more often in a diesel, does not mean it pollutes more. If you were to stay in a non ventilated room with a big diesel idling, you'd survive a lot longer than if you were idling a little 4 cylinder gas motor.

  • @kemuksigak You might survive longer but you'll wish you hadn't. There's a reason you never hear about anyone trying to commit suicide by locking themselves in the garage with a diesel vehicle running.

  • @kemuksigak That's bulllshit, frankly. The most immediately lethal thing in a car's exhaust is CO2, which simply suffocates by displacing oxygen. The bigger the engine, the more CO2, the sooner you die - diesel or petrol. The difference with diesel is your lungs will be blacker from inhaling the soot.

  • @CADpencil

All i was saying is you would die quicker from a gas engines exhaust than a diesel. I just hear so much bullshit that diesels, because you can see the actual exhaust coming out (when it's blowing black smoke) and that it smells stronger than a gas exhaust, they automatically assume that it's polluting way more than a gas engine. To me, that assumption is bullshit and it was a counterpoint to that argument that i was trying to make.

  • @kemuksigak no you wouldnt....i dare you to try that

  • @kemuksigak wo wo wo wo wo wo wo wo wo wo wo wo wo wo wo where the fuck did u get that bullshit from

  • @SirLollipopPerson

From working in the industry. Diesel will make you very ill but it won't kill you as fast as a gas engines exhaust fumes. So back up the bullshit train and sit on that thought for a minute. North America is the only place that diesels aren't offered in every single vehicle imaginable. We have diesel trucks, diesel Jeep Liberty (for a while), VW has a few diesels and that is it. So it kind of limits the general populations understanding of the diesel engine.

  • @kemuksigak alive but covered in soot

  • @kemuksigak Why don't you go try that...

  • hey dip shit what do you know about diesel any way who cares if he is roaling pounds of coal down the interstate its his truck and you can die from breathing in diesel fumes its just as dangours as breathing in car fumes trust me i got to a diesel college

  • @kemuksigak Which is why people shoud respect diesel!

  • @MarioLeiteee Since when is an SUV weighing over 8,500 lbs a "personal car"? For your information, diesels are the most efficient engines out there. Biodiesel engines have been proven to be the only engines to pollute less than electric cars, and just because we can handle the torque of a 7.3L engine doesn't mean we're a-holes. Besides, I think saving the world from Naziism makes us eternally exempt from a-holeism.

  • @jamesandrewjohnson yeah coz america totally saved the world fuck face sure you helped us in aus but to say you saved the world is bullshit regardless of you rocking up russia was starting to kick arse and we were doing enough

  • @spike12225 Before we joined Germany already had control of most of Europe. Japan and Germany were both planning to expand, literally ruling the world. Meanwhile the Allies were barely holding off the Nazis and Japanese, and they were only because we were supplying almost 100% of the weapons, tanks, trucks, jeeps, ships, submarines, and even their food because Germany was starving them out. Without us, Europe and Asia would have inevitably been captured.

  • @spike12225 Meanwhile, Australia lost only 5% the number of people in World War two that America lost and barely killed 2% the number of enemies America killed. So without any doubt in my mind and undisputed by historians, without America's help, the entire world besides us would be German/Japanese, and either they would capture us or we would have to single-handedly liberate the world. So in every sense, we did save the world from Naziism, like I said.

  • @jamesandrewjohnson Question. Why the hell are you posting completely unrelated comments on this video? Nobody cares about World War II when they come to an automotive video.

  • @spike12225 You and your buddy need to go fight somewhere else. This has nothing to do with the video.

  • toyota commercial is gay.... toyota is gay

  • @pete804 RIGHT lol why do they put a TOYOTA of all companys on a FORD vid... retards lol..

  • @pete804

    Commercial yes toyota no

  • @pete804 they are trying to trick us into buying shitty "economical" and "green" cars

  • @pete804 except for the supra

  • @Mikebue11 dude supra is not just gay...its REALLY gay. i mean a twin turbo v6? who does that?

  • @polarisxtc440 somebody that knows how to reduce turbo lag, dumbass. its also not a v6, its a straight 6. and the new nissan gtr is a twin turbo v6 that is considered one of the best cars ever made. so stop bitching.

  • @pepene93 in my opinion any type of jap. crap=shit, regardless.

  • @polarisxtc440 yeah, i noticed you have no idea what youre talking about. but try to keep your unwanted oral flatulence to yourself.

  • @polarisxtc440 who does a twin turbo v6? Ford just came out with one for the 2011 F150s. And it's dominating it's class right now. So don't say bad things about a twin turbo v6

  • @Koshman32 ill give you that one, but if I bought a SPORTS car I would definitely just go with the bigger engine.

  • rattling clattering powerchoke

  • sounds like a tractor engine with misfires.

  • better fuel economy just by cuttin off da exhaust pipe. right.

  • @immokflorida ya you are right

  • @immokflorida you do get better fuel mileage without the muffler and it even makes them sound better
