Actually, Daleks Sek, Dalek Thay, Dalek Caan, and Dalek Jast most likely were touched by a weeping angle, how else would they get from the time period in army of ghosts to the 1930s with out a time machine, and if they did have one why not go back further to a time where we only had really really bad weapons like spears or clubs?
How could the Weeping Angels possibly beat the Daleks? I think that the Dalek's gun is more than powerful enough to destroy the Angel, and also, Daleks have neither the need, nor the ability to blink. Weeping Angels are completely terrifying, but there is no way that they could defeat the Daleks. Not unless there was only one Dalek and about a hundred Weeping Angels. Then they could surround it. Still, it's a really cool video.

You know that the Daleks are not dead, they just went back in time? So it would be kinda wrong to say they met their match if it didn't even kill one dalek.

Catch is, Daleks are intelligent only in terms of astrophysics and weaponery. Other than that, they are idiots. Would a dalek be able to figure out that the angels are even alive? I have not seen too much of the newer daleks, so IDK if they get smarter, but if they are idiots, either they don't figure out that they are alive, or if they do, they think that the statue replaced the living being, and will not attack it. Stalemate. And since daleks refuse to accept a tie, they consider it a loss.

@scissorphilip I don't think the stone is destructible. Otherwise Weeping Angels would be a laughing stock. Notice when the Cleric-soldiers shot at them we saw no dead Angels. The stone is likely something akin to a bookmark in reality, to show the Angel will be -there- when it exists again, but is impervious, only vulnerable when not being seen. And Daleks have EMERGENCY temporal shifts, it randomly shunts them off into time and space, they can't control it. "Basically, anywhere/when is better.

a dalek would flog a weeping angel, 1. they dont blink they record, 2. they have a shield and 3. they shoot anything.

@fishworshipper the shield is exactly the same as whats on the tardis but the tardises is stronger and can be multi-plied, ye ur answer above ^ is true, back the the shield anything that touches literally dissapears watch the episode dalek in series one with christopher eccleston, the shield only activates when it is in combat or etc.

Daleks turn too slowly, they'd all be sent ba... I just figured out why there are always more Daleks! It's a loop of events!

Catch is, Daleks are intelligent only in terms of astrophysics and weaponery. Other than that, they are idiots. Would a dalek be able to figure out that the angels are even alive? I have not seen too much of the newer daleks, so IDK if they get smarter, but if they are idiots, either they don't figure out that they are alive, or if they do, they think that the statue replaced the living being, and will not attack it. Stalemate. And since daleks refuse to accept a tie, they consider it a loss.

@Ihaskukyz Maybe. I think daleks just hate humans so much they don't care if we care, they would probably rather die than be shown mercy by humans (or any species for that matter). Or take advantage of it and kill the one that shows them mercy is the more likely result.

@BBCTopgearfan Really? I am not familiar with the newer daleks, so I wouldn't know. Seems very counterintuitive to me that a dalek would do that. Unless this were somehow a unique dalek.

In the episode "Blink" the Weeping Angels don't snap your neck like in the newer episodes "Flesh and Stone" and "The Time of Angels" (Because in those episodes they needed bodies) but I wonder if the angels in "Blink" what would happen if you touch them first? XD

@redalert2020 in doctor who is says that which beholds an image on an angel becomes an angel itself, if this is true wouldn`t seeing them be enough to turn you into an angel, after all how do you know what an angel looks like if you have never seen one, as for daleks verses an angel, how long would stone last verses a dalek blaster, after all daleks have temperial shifts so sending one back in time would only delay it for a while.

@scissorphilip I don't think the stone is destructible. Otherwise Weeping Angels would be a laughing stock. Notice when the Cleric-soldiers shot at them we saw no dead Angels. The stone is likely something akin to a bookmark in reality, to show the Angel will be -there- when it exists again, but is impervious, only vulnerable when not being seen. And Daleks have EMERGENCY temporal shifts, it randomly shunts them off into time and space, they can't control it. "Basically, anywhere/when is better.

@Kayriel No, I think the stone is destructible. But because it isn't their living tissue, even if you destroy it, they'll instantly rebirth into another statue next time you see them.
