Honestly, the subways look worse than they are. Ive lived in Tokyo for 6 months, and it only really happens if you go to Shibuya, Shinjuku etc. And even if the trains are so full, it feels less cramped than it looks

I advise you to get up anyway visit the fish market, which was the first thing shown in this vid (with all the haggling). It's a ridiculous experience and a very unofficial tourist destination.
