I think that is a highfin carpsucker or a quillback, i speared some of those in the river near my house and ive been trying to figure out what they are.
timetodepop dude that size net does not take any skill whats so ever to use....i was using 4-5 ft nets when i was 5....... and now im 15 and use a 14foot net which takes alot of skill. im not trying to hate on him or nothing just saying....once he upgrades to a bigger net.. then he'll learn and then it will be considered skill
@HighCaliberFishing cool i didnt kno that. im just starting to use live bait. (shiners and bluegills) i see that u hav like the bubler. can u tell me where u got urs or like what brand it is? thanks
We just have great fishery down here... I mean just me and a couple friends fish it. We practice catch and release for all gamefish and usually fish with circles to prevent gut hooking. Also every time we get a heavy rain we get "new" fish from upstream or some may swim up from downstream.
Yea bro im just about to turn 15.... First of do you have a fly rod? If so for bluegills i would get a few small poppers and some little nymphs. Some favorites of mine are the gold bead brassie and little yellow poppers. I live in Texas and we don't have any trout here so sorry I can't give you any tips on them... But the nymphs and poppers will kill bluegills. If you got any more questions just ask me
whats up buddy. im about your age, (assuming your around 16 or so) and im from an area of the country that has ZERO fly fishermen, but it has always appealed to me. I have been an AVID fisherman my whole life, but i wanted some tips on getting started, and what patterns you like for bluegills, trout, just any tips and pointers. I definitely dig all your videos. nice job man. See ya.
Nice tips. Those are all some of my favorites for huge flatheads as well. :)
