If this is an animation reel, then cut out all the junk that isn't animation. The models, the textures. They don't help convince anyone that they should hire you as an animator.

Also the reel is too long and the music makes my ears bleed. You're making this reel for potential employers, pick music that doesn't distract from the reel.

How old is the demo? Looks like 2000-2002. It's a shame 3D animation doesn't hold up like traditional 2D. Still nice work and this studio has some nice talent working for them, but lacks the "wow" factor here in 2008.

I think you've got some good stuff there, but it seems a little long. It could probably be half as long. I would say weed out the stuff that isn't absolutely stunning and get it to just under a minute. You don't need all the planets, and the animation of the men carrying someone on a cot isn't your best character animation. Pick the best stuff and streamline it a bit.

satay, most of the time animators use techno/dance/electric music for their reels because it gives them more life. Could you imagine a reel like this with for example the mario brothers theme? It just gives it realism and excitement

I agree it is upbeat but only uplifting if you enjoy electronica. Reels are to catch the eye of prospective clients/employers showing the artists breadth of skill, which yours does nicely so why not a bit more breadth with the audio. Maybe more sound effects and some traditional, instrument orientated music thrown into the mix. Just thought I'd offer some criticism as most commenters on you tube just compliment. Anyway, all the best :)
