I've never heard this song done with a funky, bluesy feel... but I like it! The softer passages were some of the nicer parts of your performance. It's a shame you weren't miked closer. I'd love to hear that voice captured with some pro audio gear.

I tried out for Idol this past summer. Joe Willis, the producer of Nine Records, told me I had what it takes to make it in the business but that I've still got a lot to learn and to come back next year.
It was a fun experience, but looks like I'm not the next American Idol. ; ]
Hmmm I always seem to be able to narrow down the top 5 on that show very early on and in my opinion your vocals are better than many that have been put through so far. Your not a Mariah or Carrie Underwood but you have a unique style that I'd like to hear more of. Their loss.

Theres an acapella group in my school that has done this song to death, so i when i saw you put this up i was like, damn of all songs.. but then i heard it and u did AMAZING. Good job. Hope you post more frequently though cuz you're really talented.
