If she had resolved it it would have been an appoggiatura. Like you, I hear it as a ninth. No matter what, grg35 hears how daring and satisfying it was. I think we all agree on that. As to Amy, she was a ♮ (natural). :)

Then I looked through older videos and saw she appeared much the same at other concerts. It all became "normal" to them. They only cancelled the last tour after the public outcry. Obviously you've never dealt with a drug addict before. These people sometimes cannot be helped. It's really really hard or impossible. Amy was def worse than Britney BUT we talking about totally different problems. You cannot compare them in the psychological sense or physical dependency of a substance.

@tascothepublicenemy Britney and Amy are very different scenarios. Amy was an alcoholic/drug addict. She was using alcoholic logic. Poor decision making due to drugs. Britney showed signs of emotional distress and nervous breakdowns. Insanity and drug addiction are not the same and they are most definitely not treated the same in court. Mitch could have attempted that but had a very poor chance at winning. He probably thought about it and was advised he wouldn't win. We don't know that.

You have to really battle it and most likely you wouldn't win. It's really hard to help these people (because most are in such denial about their abuse). At 1:26 the way her voice strikes those 3 words with the tone and 'Sassyness" of of a Jazz singer is incredible for her to be able to do and understand the timimg and knowing when to do it. Especialy at AGE 27..You must understand many artists peak and develope this much much later in their singing career.
