i was wondering what it would sound like if you played it the same way but a lot slower. you know i love it when elle fitzgerald does this pice and the way the band plays and she sings gives the song so much space to breath. im sure you got the feeling to do that as well! what do you think?

This is a wonderful interpretation! Very true to the original vibe of the song- cool, bluesy, easy. You got the whole thing goin on: vocals, strumming/picking patterns, and jazz chords included. Would you mind posting the chord progressions? I can't make some of them out, because you're playing around with specific notes within the chords. Again, very well done. You have a lot of talent. This is my favorite song of all time. I play guitar and sing, and have been working on my own rendition of this song. I've got to tell you, you really nailed this perfectly. I've been surfing YouTube and watching a lot of videos for Summertime. Most of them go off on jazz tangents. You do a great job of capturing the blues -ey feel of the song, which I think is the real heart of the song. This is some beautiful work. Thank you for posting.
