  • Very nice shooting, couldn't help but pick up on some room for improvement, so if you don't mind some constructive criticism! First off is your head, you have the very common problem of moving it when the string reaches your chin, you'll find if you try and keep it still and just come straight into anchor this will give a more consistent position. Secondly, I was watching your shoulder blades on the final shot, try to remember to finish on a push-pull motion. Otherwise fantastic, keep it up!

  • ps Beiter long rods for the win :D

  • Good shot, especially if all of that is mostly self-taught :)

the only thing that might help out (my coach has a go at me when i do it :S ) is when you bring your hand in to your anchor point, don't move your head as you're unlikely to get it exactly in the same spot every time. When you start turn your head into place and bring your hand to your jaw not the other way around :)

just a thought you seem to be doing very well by yourself

  • The brace is lame. The letting the bow teeter downwards after the shot is clearly just for show. On top of it all you're wearing all the spandex gear, this isn't hardcore archery, its uppity pampered suburbanite self amusement. "Look at me I hit the target" maybe its because of that tactically impractical effeminate sight you are using in an indoor range.

  • Great stuff matey

  • I'm not being funny but, I could shoot that far with a normal traditional Bow in half the speed.

  • You began with wii archery, isn't it?? :)

  • How do you exactly aim down the bow? Strings? or..?

  • How did you learn to shoot like that??? =D

  • @snakesrcute

hmm, first of all I played alot of computer games, specialy the ones where I could be an archer.

Then when had enough experience in virtual worlds, thought that I should try it in real world also.

    And result is here. ;)

  • @SirRait

really? woooow! so... did someone teach you or did you teach yourself when you started with a real bow?

  • @snakesrcute

Actualy I started with longbow. Leared to shoot it on my own.

For sure i made a note in my mind about everything that other archers talked in practice or in competitions.

After couple of years I moved on and took recurve and now its already 3rd year with this one. With recurve i have got some advice from more experienced shooters. But owerall I learn things on my own. Still makeing notes about everything I hear about shooting and bows :)

  • wow! That's really cool! I wish I could shoot like that!

  • why does the bow twist after you take a shot? answer on my channel please

  • Be careful not to make a to long front draw because the chance that you drop you bow arm is much bigger, but looks very nice

  • @Hoytusa1elite Thank you. I figured out also that I was doing slightly too long front draw. Specialy at the end of trainings, when I started to get tired.

With long front draw, It's was harder and harder to go through clicker

A moment I'm trying to control it more, and I feel much more comfortable on full draw and on release also.

  • Good Shooting !
