Youll be able to start flying in a year or so if you want. I started when i was 16.
And your right about the visibility. In 'low wing' planes the wings do get in the way of the view of the ground. Sometimes you do have to look at the ground, so you just roll the aircraft onto its side and you can see it fine.
Theres a lot of little jabirus also flying at the airfield i go to!
Yeah i met the designer of the engine and fuselages of jabirus he was a really smart man. I also met his daughter.
And the jabirus are supposed to be really smooth for there size so me and my mate are thinking of going halves in a plane.. And up at bundaberg there was like an 11 year old learning to fly to get his liscence at 16.
It felt really good, one of the best things ive ever done. It didnt really hit me that i was solo though, until i looked across to the airfield and realized there wasn't anyone else in the plane. That was pretty scary, but exciting at the same time.
So i just focused on what id been trained to do and it was fine.
And that was one of the best landings ive ever done i think.

I want to fly.. Only 13 though.
Hows visibility in those?
Ive heard the plains with the fuselage on top have worse visibility to the ones with the fuselage below the wings?
I want to get a little 6 cylinder jabiru when im old enough only about 70 grand.
Nice flying by the way
