@M3G4SP0T actually i looked back after five minutes and apparently i pulled an idiot move i didnt see tht there are two sets of joints, i was only moving the bottom ones and not the ones at the thigh, i felt so relieved and was so impressed at the mechanics when i figured it out. thank anyway

i built this perfectly and for some reason the joint's that connect the legs to the hips have snapped off completely so iv had to glue one leg in completely making it very hard for poses so i used the action stand provided. . . this kit is almost perfect with a few minor nitpicks like the like of gold parts but hey its not (PG). . but it sure could be lol . . and does any body know how i could order the parts that broke ? if so just inbox me or rely to this one (Y) thanks

@vietsoldier01 The sword hilt is definitely painted, I think he repainted the hilt silver and then top coated with clear yellow to give it a metallic gold effect, because the duller unpainted yellow plastic of the hilt looks pathetic, I should know, I just bought the kit myself

hey, uuum is it really easy to put together if youve never put a gundam model together? because i just ordered this and it will be coming in, and i dont know how easy it will be.

an MG model for your first kit? take your time building it, normal modellers build it 5-8 hours straight, some takes longer because we clean it up. my advice would be to take your time, or buy a cheaper gunpla just to get a feel of it

I just finished mine today and it seems I might have made a mistake since the shoulder to arm connection seems REALLLY weak if it even attempt to move it slightly back when its straight, it will pop out. Everything else is ultra sturdy and solid except that which makes me think I made a mistake

@mastermp44g It depends if you like the 00 anime than get the ignition Exia since it comes with parts to make the Exia repair fromthe first ep. of season 2, if it's between the two Astray's than it's all about the colors and the accesories since they're the only differences between them.

THIS is a great video AND now i MUST GET the red and blue frames :: tries to comfort his poor abused wallet:: and this is a fantastic video's. but I have to point out that i am a total dork normally a Katana is warn with the curve pointing up rather then down as you had it to allow for a faster draw in combat :D god that's a pretty mech...then again i never read the manga so i don't know how it had his swords mounted.

@dantruong12 no the Mg is indeed a little smaller, but thats because the porpotions in the MG are way better than the 1/100

It sure cant beat the NG in terms of sprue placement though..the way the ng was attached to the sprues ment there is absolutely no sprue attachment marks left behind on the ng. I cant see bandai having done that for the mg since they didnt bother for the pg. Ofcourse if you paint the gundam then it doesnt really matter but loads of people are lazy

its the same, the MG astray blue and red dont have sprue marks, thats cause they pretend to release a MG Astray Gold Frame, normaly bandai only make the sprues that way for Gold parts

I wish this was a bit taller and bulkier like the pg, people didn't like how the pg had bulk, but I thought it looked good with it.. I mean, the legs on this are too skinny, they need to be thicker, and the chest needs to be a bit bigger, y'know?

This model looks awesome, although it kinda loses its muscular feel when you compare it next to something like ZZ (which btw, looks very good and bulky and I wonder if I should buy it considering it's from 1999 and eventually bandai should release a 2.0). I hope the ankles are not a problem in the future...

I also agree with a couple of comments that say they'd prefer a cheaper MG without the T-A; but that's bandai in the last few years: they'll do ANYTHING to put the price up.

Yeh i have the pg too i can see many influences from the pg in particular the legs. The mg looks like it can blow the pg out of the water in terms of poses tho.

One thing you didn't mention, or maybe it is absent on the Red Frame.

On the Blue frame, you can move the waist/skirt armor aside so that the Blue Frame can almost do vertical splits. Is this the case with the Red Frame? Or did Bandai smarten up and decide that the idea was good but it was executed properly because stuff was falling off everywhere?

The Freedom isn't exactly the one sent into space by Lowe, it was it's pilot Kira Yamato.

Lowe managed to find Kira on the broken remains of the Strike Gundam after it's battle with the Aegis, he treated Kira's injuries before he sent him to space under the care of Lacus.
