Hate doing this on a Bjork song, and all together, but forced to by modern music business; I'm inspired by all the music I post this message into, hoping that my own sound may appeal to those who love the sounds I love. I've just finished a demo and would love if anyone has a few minutes to listen and tell me what they think and spread it if they like it. Know Bjork wouldn't mind, loving the new album btw luv! Beauty in sound! Take care everyone, much love. Liam Andrew
OMFG, a fucking Bjork song about lost keys & fancy keyrings...and this is the first time I'm hearing it? LOL. Fucking awesome...so cute...but I see why this was a B side to a single...still, oddly I like it!
God save the American music industry...we no longer have control over what music is on the radio in America, MTV & VH1 don't even play music videos anymore-the only music that gets played in America is shit that makes us want to buy more shit. At least we have the internet, or I'd have to listen to shit music for the rest of my life, lol
Is this the song Bjork said that this song is made by the entity of the person who wrote Vespertine (Like how the album cover of Homogenic is supposed to represent the writer of the Homogenic Songs)?
Yeah, she said in an interview that she made musical noises out of items found in the home for her album, such as ice, Rice Krispies, and cards. She considered it a tribute to the home, or something along those lines. If you want, I can send you the link to the interview. It's here on Youtube.
In a number of her songs she doesn't sing the name of the title. "Cocoon", "Pluto", "Joga", "Hyperballad" "The Anchor Song" are a few examples.
i want so much for her to find her keys!...but i dont want this hypnotic song to end!! oh what a kanundrum!

Only Bjork can write a song about losing her keys, and have it be amazing and beautiful.

@quiet777riot You mean you don't like "Keeping up with the Kardashians", "Hogan knows best" and "Pet's Cribs"?
Incidentally, there is a primitive episode of cribs knocking about featuring Bjork's Icelandic pad. But not for MTV

American media typically makes fun of Bjork...Because she sings a message to awaken your spirit, which is destructive to America.

Domestica was originally going to be the title of her Vespertine album.
renethel 2 years ago 51
Really?? I didn't have any idea. It sounds like the name of a dog, you know? It's funny, because in the song, she never says "Domestica".

Hm. It sounds a little demo-ish to me. I can see why it didn't end up on the album. It's interesting as a study in her process, though!
