Are you playing this in standard tuning? When the Goo Goo Dolls play it, they use a crazy tuning and the song uses a lot of open strings. I ask because it sounds different and it sounds like you're playing a lot of bar chords. You might be making it a lot harder on yourself.

Yup, this is in standard tuning and its really easy to play in standard. I did it like this because I didnt feel like doing the tuning that they origianlly did the song in. You dont get the full effect of the open strings, but its my lax twist on the tune.
